Since the release of her first single “Tim McGraw” back in 2006, Taylor Swift has taken over the music industry with her pop country ballads and teen heartache anthems. Now, after selling 20 million albums worldwide and appearing at every awards show on the planet, the 21-year-old music superstar is known not only for her music, but also for her adorable sense of style.

With her unique stylistic mix of casual-cool chic, girl-next-door cute and sparkling red-carpet glam, Taylor has become a fashion icon, covering top magazines such as Glamour, InStyle, CosmoGirl, Allure, Teen Vogue, Blender, Rolling Stone, People, and Seventeen, to name a few!

Known for her floral frocks, glimmering gowns, and relatable down-to-earth street style, it’s no surprise that Ms. Swift is very popular among CF readers! (We heard your numerous requests for a post on her style!) So for those of you who are dying to dress like Taylor, I’ll show you how to get Taylor Swift’s style… for less!

How to Get Taylor Swift’s Style for Less!

The wardrobe of a pop sensation comes with quite the price tag. That said, it’s easier than you think to emulate Taylor’s look without emptying your bank account. Want proof? The following outfits are completely comprised of items that cost $100 or less!

Outfit 1: Fun in Floral

5

Dress, Cardigan, Bag, Shoes, Necklace

To me, floral frocks and Taylor Swift go hand in hand. Here, she rocks a flirty floral dress with a cream cardigan for a perfect spring-to-summer look. I love that Taylor added a pop of color with her strappy teal sandals, making this a standout ensemble for the season.

2. Outfit 2: To Top It All Off

2

Blazer, Top, Jeans, Bag, Shoes, Hat

Taylor looks city chic here as she rocks a boyfriend blazer, black skinny jeans, a striped top, and a pair of wingtips. My favorite part of this fall look is her navy beanie hat – I think it really pulls the menswear-style look together. This look is great for a fall shopping day, or just a day of classes.

Outfit 3: Perfectly Preppy

3

Shirt, Skirt, Bag, Necklace, Earrings, Shoes

Channeling Emma Pilsbury, Taylor looks preppy and posh in a fitted striped 3/4-length top and full cherry-red skirt. She also added a pair of nude peep-toe pumps for a more sophisticated and put-together look. This look would be great for a summer brunch with friends, a day party at the beach, or with a pair of flats for work.

Outfit 4: Chanel Chic

4

Top, Jeans, Boots, Bag, Necklace

For a day on the town or going to class, Taylor’s oversized Chanel No 9-inspired top is an easy way to look chic without trying. Just add a pair of ankle boots, jeggings, and a chic necklace, and you’ll look effortlessly cool and most of all, comfortable.

Outfit 5: Flowing and Fearless

Taylor Swift outfit - jeans, boots, and a flowing blouse

Top, Jeans, Boots, Bracelet, Headband

This is one of my favorite looks from Taylor. Here, she looks chic and stylish in a flowing white blouse and riding boots. This look is easy to pull off and can work whether you’re going to class, having a nice dinner, or hanging with friends. Swap a pair of wedges for the boots for a more summer-appropriate look.

Thoughts?
