Army green eye makeup

I am seriously loving the army jacket trend that is still going strong this spring – I have seriously worn it almost every day this week! So when I saw the L’Oeal Colour Riche Shadow Quad in the shade Army Brat 312, I knew I had to try an eye makeup look inspired by my favorite jacket.

What You’ll Need:

Army green makeup products

Here are all of the products I used for this tutorial – seriously, that’s it!

And here’s a closer look at the ahhhmazing eyeshadow quad that I used: It’s L’Oreal’s Color Riche Shadow Quad in Army Brat.

Let’s get to the tutorial, shall we?

How-to: Army Green Smokey Eye

Army green makeup steps

Step 1: After priming my eyelids, I applied the gold color from the palette all over my lids using a flat shader brush.

Step 2: Using a soft, fluffy blending brush and circular motions, I blended the darkest color into my crease. Note: Be careful not to pick up too much of this color, as it is extremely pigmented and you don’t need much product on your brush to successfully define your crease!

Step 3: I took the green color and swept this across my lower lash line, creating that perfect smokey eye effect.

Step 4: Using the applicator that was provided in the palette, I applied the white shimmery color into my inner tear duct area to open up my eyes and bring in some light.

Step 5: With my favorite liquid eyeliner from Physicians Formula, I created a dramatic wing to pull the look together.

Step 6: Now it’s time to curl your lashes and add a coat of your favorite mascara. I used my L’Oreal Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in Blackest Black.

Step 7: To pull the whole look together, I decided to go with nude lips. I went with a more orange-toned nude because the warmth of the color really goes with the shades of army green that I’m wearing. I used Rimmel London’s Nude Delight lipstick – definitely a staple of mine.

And that’s it! I seriously love love LOVE this makeup look, and trend!

What do you think?
