Would You Wear… Pink Pants?

Pink Pants Celeb Style

When I was a religious watcher of Gossip Girl, Serena Van der Woodsen‘s outfits constantly made my jaw drop. One particular look she sported (seen on actress Blake Lively above) was high-waisted, wide-leg pink pants, which she wore while shopping Paris’ luxury stores. While we may not be able to peruse the Champs Elysses with bags from Chanel and perfectly messy hair, hot pink pants can easily be worn on our own campuses.

Over the past few months, I’ve been noticing pink pants everywhere. Celebs (like Rachel Bilson, pictured above) and style bloggers (like Andy from Style Scrapbook, pictured above), haven’t been able to get enough of them. At first I was hesitant, but now I love them – they’re a great way to inject the perfect pop of color into an otherwise-neutral outfit.

Why not try them with simple black and white stripes or a trench coat?

Product Information: Top – Topshop, Jacket – H&M, Pants – Topshop, Bag – Oasis, Nail Polish – Nordstrom

So now you know what I think… what about you?

Do you think pink pants make for a hot outfit or are they a hot mess? Is this something that will quickly go out of style? Do you have any pink pants? How would you wear the trend? Let me know by leaving a comment!

I have pink shorts and purple skinny jeans (almost the same!) that I LOVE. They all look adorable.

I don’t wear pink (like at all)–I’m a red head and the majority of pink shades clash terribly with my hair. That being said, I think these bright pink pants look surprisingly easy to pull off for most people–they’re a great pop of color. I’m not sure how many seasons they’ll stay in the style so I wouldn’t spend a ton on them but they’d look great!

Pink doesn’t go well with my skin tone, so no. I’ve never been too fond of the color anyways. It looks great on other gals, though.

That’s a very cute and fun outfit. Personally I won’t get them, mostly because my legs are not my best features… They’re much too short and chunky but I can rock a mini in a loud color (pink? Pumpkin?) with heels. The great thing about your posts is that it’s just so inspirational and people can just substitute with anything else we’ve got in our closets. That’s why I enjoy your blog so much. :-)

I designed these pink Visual status rings just because of the color:)
I’m giving away these rings for free right now just so people can see them and enjoy the meaning:)

I had a pair of pastel pink chinos in 8th grade, and I wore them with everything. I even had a fuzzy pink angora newsboy cap to match. Maybe it’s time to reinstate a new edition of my pink pants…though I think perhaps a realistic color of fur would do this time, and probably a nice scarf, or something a tad less insane than my beloved furry hat of long ago!

Well on those girls, pink pants are fabulous. I mean Blake Lively? That girl can wear aaaaanything. But for me? I’m not too sure I can make them look normal. I have pink shorts, but I think shorts are less dramatic. Like Annette said, this was very inspirational. Oh but if only I had the courage…

I can’t get enough of the colored pants and jeans trend this fall, the pink is definitely my favorite so far. This is such a fun way to add some spark to your look. The pink is great because its casual for daytime and then can easily be transitioned into a more dressed up look.

Im doing a head-to-toe pink outfit for breast cancer awareness, and I’m calling that day Pink Friday! I’m getting all of my friends to do it, so in two weeks everyone, wear pink head-to-toe to represent Breast Cancer Awareness on Oct 22! I can’t wait!
