Would You Wear… Liquid Leggings?
Here’s another trend for you guys to debate on.
Liquid leggings have been a huge trend since last fall, and they’re still going strong into spring. This is a trend that you either love or hate – these black, shiny leggings can be a fabulous look if worn right, but they might also not be the most flattering legwear choice for everyone.
On one hand, they have that rocker vibe that celebs like Rihanna and Mary-Kate Olsen are all over – perfect when worn with a long, loose top and some fierce footwear. On the other hand, they show off every little curve, so if your legs aren’t in perfect shape, you risk showing a little too much. They also might not be everyone’s personal style. If you aren’t into the whole rocker look, these probably aren’t for you.

While I’m drawn to the idea of wearing liquid legging, I’m wary of being able to pull them off. I go to school in Oklahoma so you don’t see a whole lot of leggings around here…. but I did just buy some cute ankle boots…

I´m not a fan of liquid leggings. I love leggings, but liquid leggings? a bit too much. But then again, i´m not really fan of the whole; high heels, leggings and big shirt look..

NEVER. This is one of my least favorite trends. I have yet to see a person who looks good in them. Not to mention they just look plain tacky. Who wants shiny thighs? All they do is make you look bigger than you are.

I am not fan of the leggings trend at all. I go to school in Philadelphia, so I see atleast one pair of liquid leggings or any type of leggings a day. Some girls can pull it off, but I have seen a lot of no-nos. Kudos for the girls, who pull it off, but I would never.

The funny thing is with I saw Posh wear them I had said that looks like a hot trend so I went to Urban Outifter and they looked like a garbage bag so even though it looks like leather pants but its not

I think leggings can be cute…I don’t wear them very much I think there becoming a little over worn. But, I actually like liquid leggings on some people, only a true fashionista with a lot of confidence and a some edge can really pull these off. I wouldn’t where them because they don’t match my style. But, I would love to style a outfit for someone else with these leggings.

No. They are tacky. Plus, if you don’t have a body like Victoria Beckham, they could make you look like you have thunder thighs.

Liquid leggings are a trend I definitely want to try! I prefer Mary Kate and Rihanna’s look over Victoria’s. With the wrong shoes though, the look could be disastrous.

i love the liquid leggings trend! I bought some and wore them with a cami, flannel shirt, black boots and a scarf to go out one night. When I walked into the bar a girl stopped me and said I looked gorgeous, she kept telling me all night how much she loved my look. So although I was reluctant at first I am glad I bought them! I saw on another fashion website that liquid leggings aren’t going away anytime soon and are an investment piece.

Hecccccck no! Talk about trashy! The only person who can pull these off in te whole world = Victoria Beckham. She is an amazonian alien that is perfect in almost every way and only weird outfits seem to look amazing on her.

Personally, I love liquid leggings! I have a pair and get so many compliments when I go out. Unfortunately, in Tucson, AZ (any probably in any town that’s not LA or NYC) it’s definitely a night time look. I think you either need some super fashionista confidence or have celebrity status to make it a day time look. But for those who think the look is too much, I found a pretty sweet compromise on Forever 21. They’re called Sammie Sheen Leggings. They’ve got a little sheen to it, but not a shine, which makes it versatile for both day and night outfits.

Nope! I think they look amazing on skinny girls…if you’re going out…and only for anyone 22 or younger. So therefore, under VERY limited circumstances. I don’t fit in any of them! :)

I think they look wonderful on smaller people.
However, I personally wouldn’t wear them because I’m a bit chubby. No one wants to see my thighs poured into leggings like that.

A lot of people are saying its a nighttime look but it would be super easy piece to dress down by buying some that don’t go all the way ankle.
Especially when they have a zipper. very cute.
Add accessories/ tunic that arent black and you have a cute school outfit too.

I actually own a pair from wetseal. At first I had a tough time pairing them with things, but they soon eased into my wardrobe.
They are a smidge too egdy for school, so I try to dress them down or wear them for nicer occasions. I love them. (:

Yes. I love Liquid Leggings. Of course, I’d wear them to go out at night to a club or something…never during the day. With a chunky or stiletto heel they can be very sexy.
