Zac Posen for Target Lookbook

Zac Posen for Target Lookbook

We mentioned a while back that Zac Posen is the latest designer to be creating a collection for Target. The collection won’t be hitting shelves until April 25th, but if you just can’t wait that long, we have the lookbook here (thanks to Fashionista).

So how does the designer known for his red carpet glamour translate that to the mass market?

With a splash of bright colors, a pinch of 90’s redux, and a whole lot of fabulous flirty, Zac Posen’s collection is pretty fabulous if I do say so myself! Check out the photos below and click on each to enlarge!

Aahhhh. I love this so much more than the Rodarte for Target collection. I think the maxi dress is to die for. Can’t wait!

Wow, a Target collection I don’t hate! I’ll have to check this out. The only look I don’t like is this one:

It’s the Hawaiian shirt and long shorts. It’s like, why? Who would wear that? But other than that look, I’m in love!

I absolutely love the red dress and the flower bow! I’ll be so upset if those sell out first.

I find it tough to believe that a gold bodysuit will appeal to Target’s key audience, but I’m pretty down with that tuxedo dress.

Very excited about this. I love the colors and the patterns. Quite amazing. Looks much better than Rodarte for Target (maybe because they chose a model that didn’t look like an angry man this time). These pieces actually look expensive too so that’s pretty exciting.

    Loving it so far!

I’m very excited by this lookbook, as I have been lately by all the new Target stuff, but each time this happens, I go into the store and I feel like everything looks much cheeper/cheesier in person.

So I really hope this doesn’t disappoint.

I’ve always been pretty meh about Zac Posen, yes he knows how to make a beautiful dress, but I feel like he plays it safe too much. I do like this lookbook though, while I wouldn’t wear any of the floral dresses, I do like his LBDs and that red ruffled dress, I can’t wait to see them in person. It’s so cool how designer fashion is starting to be more accessible to the masses, it makes me happy haha.

Most of the time I find that callaborations are fashion flops and only 1 or 2 pieces really grab my attention. It’s very refreshing to see a multitude of looks that excite me :) I am looking forward to the red ruffled dress and I love the bright socks with the mary-jane style shoes!

I think that it’s a good career move for Zac Posen to create a line for Target so that his name will be out their in the mainstream and in everyone’s closets. A lot of the looks look like something I’d definately wear because I have a very whimsical sense of style and I like to stand out in a good way. I feel like the ’90s have been in style for about two seasons now and I think that they’re the decade of the moment fashionwise since the ’80s got a little too popular and the ’60s look is on its way out.

Wow! This is so much more fun than the Zac Posen for Target Australia range from a few years back. The look last time was old Hollywood glamour, but some pieces ended up being more matronly. Still, this time and last, I’m glad to see that he’s still using print fabrics!

Recently, I went to a Target store near my home and saw Zac Posen’s
fashions. They were beautiful…….colorful……fun! I can’t wait to buy some of
his tee shirts. They are fun, fresh, and funky!
