Euphoria was the breakout TV show hit of summer 2019. Since its release on HBO, viewers everywhere have fallen in love with the show’s unique characters, trippy storylines, and beautiful cinematography.

Another aspect of the show that has gained tremendous praise is the styling. In fact, the looks on the show, both fashion and makeup-wise, have grown in popularity. Some have gone on to become some of the hottest trends for Spring 2020.

Sheer iridescent fabrics, sexy cut-outs, cute co-ord sets, and menswear-inspired looks make up the Euphoria wardrobe. And they’re all over our favorite stores right now.

Below you will find 5 looks inspired by some of 2020’s current trends that would get the Euphoria stamp of approval.

Dreamy Sheer Fabrics

Sheer fabrics dominate the wardrobes on Euphoria. This trend encompasses everything from sheer button-ups and jackets, to matching two pieces. And who could forget Jules’s iconic trench coat that she wears in the finale?

It’s no wonder that sheer fabrics feature so much on this show. Sheer pieces offer a dream-like feeling, adding another layer to the show’s psychedelic atmosphere.

It’s easy to wear the sheer trend in real life. Start by throwing on a sheer top layered over a sweet bralette. Then to make look more wearable, add on a pair of classic mom jeans.

For accessories, continue with the sheer trend by adding a transparent pair of loafers, as well as a see-through purse.

Flirty Bra Tops

Bra tops, crop tops, and bralettes are everywhere in the world of Euphoria.

Though most of the characters test out this look at some point, Maddy is the biggest fan of this trend. She often rocks bralettes as regular tops, a look that has become a hot trend for Spring 2020.

With bra tops growing in popularity, and will soon be seen in all of your favorite stores, turn to Euphoria to find how to style the trend in a fun casual way.

Bra tops can be hard to translate to everyday fashion, but here I’ve styled the trend in a way that is wearable, yet still statement-making.

To get this look, pair a lace bralette with a blazer and high waisted trouser jeans. This lends coverage and balance to the look.

For accessories, I included a pair of black Western styled boots (another hot 2020 trend), and a simple bag.

Whimsical Pastels

Pastel clothes on Euphoria tv show

In the same way as sheer fabrics worked to create the hazy, otherworldly feel of Euphoria, dreamy pastels also feature heavily in the show.

Though neon might be a key 2020 color trend, pastels are still reigning supreme when it comes to springtime fashion. Just take a look at a few of Jules, Cassie, and Maddy’s outfits, and you will be stocking up on pastels too.

The pastel trend is easy to incorporate into your wardrobe — just play with different shades and mix them all together.

The look above is for those of you who want to go for it — it’s definitely pastel heavy, with every aspect of the look being a pastel color.

You could wear this head to toe pastel look as-is for a bold feel. Or, if you’d prefer something more subtle, you could style just one or two of the pieces into your everyday looks.

Sultry Corsets

Corsets on the TV show Euphoria

Euphoria isn’t short on sex appeal. With this in mind, corsets, harnesses, and other lingerie-inspired details are popular picks for the characters.

Kat wears this trend the most, out of all the women on the show. Over the course of Season 1, she learns how to love the way she looks, as well as how to use her looks to manipulate the men around her. One of the ways she does this is by wearing sexy corsets over comfy graphic tees.

Here’s a fun take on this look that could be fun for a night out. This corset-inspired top is very 2020 and looks great with some high-waisted, printed shorts. To accessorize in Kat style, I added a pair of flats and some punk rock accessories.

California Cool

The last trend I will mention from Euphoria, my personal favorite of the bunch, is what I like to call the “California cool” trend. This trend is mainly worn by the character Rue (Zendaya), to reflect her laid-back personality.

The California cool trend can’t be defined by one article of clothing or a specific color. The trend is a representation of the laid back surf culture that’s often associated with California. Tie-dye prints, Hawaiian shirts, and one of the most popular trends for 2020, the Bermuda short, are all styles that can be classified as California cool. All of these are worn by Zendaya in Euphoria.

The California cool look is a comfy trend that is perfect for wearing on days when you want to relax. For this outfit, I took a lot of inspiration from Rue’s look in the show.

Create an outfit that’s comfy and cool by pairing some Bermuda shorts with a tie-dye top, then adding to the look with some circle sunglasses, a cute backpack, and basic sneakers.
