“Wait, you really believe that I spent a lot of time on this costume?”

Even the biggest fans of Halloween can admit that some years, all you want to do is stay in and watch scary movies. At least, you think that’s all you want until your friend calls with party plans, or the FOMO starts to hit.

Whatever the case may be, if you’re in a last-minute search for an easy Halloween costume, you’ve come to the right place! Here are 10 of our favorite last minute college Halloween costumes that require no preparation and minimal accessories.

Flower Crown Snapchat Filter

The distinction between the flower crown filter and, say, a Coachella go-er, is that the filter does not require an outfit to go with it!

So instead of being a ~flower child~, you can just add a flower crown to the outfit that you were already wearing! Pop on some fake lashes to get that filter effect, and you’re out the door!

Animal Ears

This one is an obvious choice, but one that has to be included in a list of easy, last-minute costumes.

Costumes like cats, dogs (and mice, duh), or really anything with ears make for easy go-to’s. I love that you can just wear all black and make it work, but feel free to put in extra effort by adding a tail or some animal-inspired makeup.

Unicorn

This one might be a little trickier if you don’t already have a unicorn horn lying around your house. Luckily, it only requires a horn and a tail – and maybe some sequins to add to your mythical makeup look, should you choose to do it.

So if you decide to buy the costume requirements, it shouldn’t set you back too much.

This is also one of those outfits where you can wear any outfit! If you’re looking for inspiration though, this costume would be the cutest wearing all millennial-pink, Y2K-inspired clothing. Like a mythical Paris Hilton…

Glam Secret Agent

This is definitely going to be one of my looks this year. The defining factors of this look are the black sunnies, the red lip, and a sleek bun.

The outfit is open to interpretation, but I will personally be wearing black leather leggings and a black sweater.

Alternatively, if you have a red trench coat and a red hat, go as Carmen Sandiego! Both of these are fun, recognizable and easy to throw on.

Witch

Feeling witchy? The only thing you need for this simple costume is a pointed witch hat – and even then, a wide-brim fall hat could also do the trick.

I love this look with an easy black dress and dark lipstick, but the hat is the defining factor, so you could pair it with any outfit. For extra charm, a broomstick is a very fun addition.

Devil

As you can see, I’m a big fan of costumes that only require makeup and a headpiece.

Last year, I went as a devil and had the most fun creating a red, shiny eyeshadow look! I paired it with a red bodysuit, my devil horns and black skinny jeans. For extra glam, a red lip never hurt anyone!

Angel

Another classic Halloween look, especially if your bestie is wearing a devil costume! The main component of this costume is the halo, but it definitely helps if you wear all white, especially if it’s a luxe material like satin.

I also love how cute this costume is with wings, but it still works without them!

Skeleton

This is another easy costume that only requires some basic makeup skills.

While you can totally go all-out with a skeleton dress or set, this costume only really requires some basic skeletal makeup. Get out your cream makeup and black eye pencil and start shading away.

Any of the Euphoria characters

Euphoria has been making major waves this year! Between the gripping drama and the fantastic costume design, this show is a fabulous source of inspiration for fashion girls.

Each of the main characters has their own sense of style, so chances are, whatever outfit you choose will correlate with one of them.

The key part of this costume is in the makeup. The eyeshadow looks in Euphoria are so intricate and gorgeous. Get familiar with bright colors, rhinestones and lots of glitter.

Wednesday Addams

If you have long dark hair and a black dress, this is the perfect go-to costume for you.

Wednesday Addams wears her hair in two long braids and keeps her look dark with a black dress. You could also glam this costume up by adding a black lip and a smoky eye.

For more of a fashion-girl flair, consider taking one of the Weird Sisters from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Mia Wallace

This look is a total classic! It’s also super easy.

If you already have short black hair, that’s half of the outfit done for you. All you need is a white dress shirt and some black jeans — which you definitely already have in your closet.

If you don’t already have these basics in your closet, this is a great reason to pick them up. Don’t forget to whip out your winning dance moves, too!

Margot Tenenbaum

If you have short blonde hair and a cozy fur coat, this look is your new go-to last minute college Halloween costume.

Margot Tenenbaum keeps it classic and casual in a polo shirt and a long fur coat. You can also bring your bag since Margot is almost always carrying hers. Don’t forget a red hair clip to really tie in the look.
