“and the Grammy goes to…”
This last Sunday, we got to see all of the biggest names in music come together for the 61st annual Grammy Awards!
It was a big night that celebrated how music brings us all together! There were amazing performances, including tribute performances to Dolly Parton and Aretha Franklin, and of course awards handed out to the best artists of 2018.
I don’t know about you, but I get so excited for the Grammy’s because I love to see all of my favorite artists come together. Music really is a universal language where everyone can be represented.
Just as with every award show, however, half of the fun is the red carpet fashion! The 2019 Grammy’s had a wide variety of looks. From Miley’s Black Tie Pantsuit to Cardi B’s…well this look:
Formal Looks Inspired by the 2019 Grammys:
There was fashion from all across the style spectrum at this year’s ceremony!
Here are some formal looks inspired by this years’ Grammy Awards that you can wear to your upcoming events on or off the red carpet.
Alicia Keys in Bold Red
Here she is, the host herself, Alicia Keys! Anyone who watched the Grammys will say that she was pure joy. She proved herself as a host and absolutely killed the medley that she performed.
Plus, did you know that Alicia had a makeup-free night? That’s right, she didn’t wear a stitch of makeup and she was glowing!
Formal Dresses Inspired by Alicia Keys at the Grammys:
Alicia Keys wore a red button-front maxi dress to the Grammys. These types of dresses are very on trend right now, so you can find them everywhere. You can dress them up with heels or dress them down with sandals for spring break.
Everyone needs a cute dress like this in their wardrobe!
Bebe Rexha in Tiered Ruffles
Bebe Rexha looked like a princess on the red carpet! She was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo for her song “Meant to Be” with Florida Georgia Line.
Bebe proved all of the size shaming haters wrong when she stepped out in this bold red ballgown by Monsoori.

Katy Perry and Anna Kendrick in Blush and Silver
Anna Kendrick and Katy Perry arrived in very similar color schemes, rocking blush pink and silver. Not only that but they both rocked feathery fabrics (Anna’s feathers were the real deal).
Both of their looks were unique, edgy, and feminine.

Camila Cabello in Sparkles
Camila Cabello kicked off Sunday night in a big way with a legendary performance of her song “Havana”! Fun fact: Camila was the first Latina to ever open for the Grammy’s! That’s a huge deal!
On the red carpet, Camila kept it fun yet elegant in a pink, sparkly Armani gown.
