If you were at Coachella this week, all I can say is kudos to you. I admire your financial ability to obtain tickets and your tenacity for sleeping in the desert for two nights. Of course, I’m also insanely jealous that you got to see acts like Hozier and Vance Joy live and in person. Plus, the music festival has practically become known for its unique fashion trends, so the style inspiration you’ve garnered this week is probably unrivaled.
For those of you who couldn’t attend Coachella this year (join the club), that doesn’t mean we can’t gather inspiration from all the lucky festival-goers. Bohemian styles abound at musical festivals, so for this week’s Class to Night Out post, I’ll be styling a printed jumpsuit. Scroll down to see a casual, classroom-ready outfit and a dressier nighttime look featuring this trend!
Printed Jumpsuit: Class
A single-print jumpsuit, either sleeveless or strapless, is your best bet for this trend – it’ll be so comfortable and transition easily from spring to the warmer summer months.
Start by layering a denim jacket over your jumpsuit to stay warm on breezy spring days. Add a pop of color with these adorable sneakers and a fluorescent pink backpack. Gold, dangly earrings and a unique set of midi rings add some subtle sparkle to your otherwise casual outfit.
Printed Jumpsuit: Night Out
To amp up your style for nighttime, pair your jumpsuit with cognac wedges. Channel your inner Coachella goddess with a drapey, white kimono-style cardigan; a straw envelope crossbody bag gives this outfit even more of a beachy, bohemian vibe.
Accessorize with a pretty gold cuff bracelet on one arm, a stack of gold bangles on the other, and throw on these gorgeous drop earrings for good measure. A bright, coral-red lip color is the perfect finishing touch!
Personally, I can’t wait to style my printed jumpsuit this spring because it’s so comfy. Would you wear either of these outfits? Are you a fan of the jumpsuit trend, or not? I’d love to hear your thoughts on these looks and this style in general!
