Kim Taehyung (stage name V) is one of the main dancers and vocalists of K-pop boyband sensation BTS.
If you aren’t familiar with BTS, see our posts on fashion inspired by BTS’ Love Yourself in Seoul concert movie, BTS leader RM, singer Jin, rapper Suga and dancers J-Hope and Jimin for more info).
Born December 30th, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea, Taehyung dreamed from a young age of becoming a musician. He spent his formative years singing, dancing and playing the saxophone before auditioning for BigHit Entertainment and signing on as the 6th member of BTS.
Known for his deep baritone voice and striking good looks, Taehyung’s role in BTS is that of a singer, dancer and visual.
On January 31st, Taehyung released his first solo venture of 2019, Scenery. The soulful track features a soft melodic tune and poetic lyrics. Check it out below!
Taehyung is not only gifted in the song and dance department: he is also an aspiring actor with a talent for drama! In 2016, V took on his first television role as Hansung in the K-drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.
Taehyung’s acting efforts are not limited to this role. BTS frequently showcase their acting chops in the band’s various music videos. Their 2017 hit Spring Day, in particular, stands out as evidence of Taehyung’s (and BTS’s) excellent acting abilities.

I love BTS V’s style. He isn’t a follower of fashion trends, but a leader. He’s not afraid to wear what he wants and I think that’s cool.
Thank you for writing about Taehyung. He is so talented and his unique fashion is the perfect mix of comfy and casual, yet fashionable.
Thanks a lot for writing about Taehyung .He is really my style icon . His fashion choices r really unique and most importantly everything really good on him ????
Thank you so much for the well-written article. Taehyung (V) has a natural talent for acting and I’m glad he got a proper opportunity to show his acting in a drama. He’s really talented; he’s got a beautiful soulful deep voice, impressive facial expressions and is one of the most captivating performers/dancers. His stage presence and power are no joke! Of course his visuals as well. He is one of the best singers/artists I’ve ever seen. When it comes to fashion, Taehyung definitely has his own unique style and chooses his outfits carefully. I like his taste. Taehyung truly has the whole package.
