Some may wonder what the difference is between plaid and gingham. A plaid pattern consists of vertical and horizontal lines of different sizes and colors. Gingham is a more organized version of plaid. It is made up of vertical and horizontal lines of the same size and spacing.
Gingham is almost always white paired with another color. You can currently find gingham in typical black and white or in a variety of pretty pastel colors.
