Fabulous Find of the Week: Walmart Leopard Tank

I said it before, and I’ll say it again – Miley Cyrus’ clothing line for Walmart is like a little gift from heaven. Despite the fact that it’s a “juniors” line, for trendy, fun pieces at such affordable prices, you seriously can’t beat it.

So it’s no surprise that this week’s Fabulous Find is (yet again) from the Miley Cyrus and Max Azria line from Walmart stores. This top is amazing – it has a flattering fit, a cute print (can’t go wrong with leopard!) and most importantly, it’s only $12!! Below, I’ll show you three very different, cute ways to style this frugal find.

Outfit Ideas

Here are three different ways to style this pretty, versatile, inexpensive tank.

1. Classic Cool

This first outfit is perfect for going to class or on a coffee date – it’s casual, but still has a classy feel to it, while managing to maintain a little edge. To start, I paired the leopard top with a pair of dark wash jeggings and a simple pair of nude flats. A short sleeved black cardigan and some black wayfarers are cute and casual, while some pearl earrings add polish to the look.

2. Trendy Casual

This outfit is super casual and has an effortlessly cool vibe. This time, I matched the leopard tank with a pair of army green, high-waisted shorts and an oatmeal colored waterfall cardigan. For shoes, I chose a cute pair of neutral gray desert boots and some cream-colored socks to peek out from the boots. For accessories, I went with a pretty gold heart pendant and a cool multi-bracelet in the same shades.

3. Night on the Town

A few of you commented on some recent posts that the hemlines featured here on CF tend to be pretty short – and I’ll admit, when I was putting together this outfit, I originally picked a black bandage mini for this look… and then I remembered those comments and decided to mix it up a little! And honestly, I love this longer skirt even more than a cute mini!

This time, I paired the tank with a mid-length skirt that has a defined waistline and a little bit of flounce to it. To play off of the skirt’s retro vibe, I chose this pair of lavender kitten heels (a hot spring shoe trend) for a pop of color, along with a studded cuff and crystal earrings. Wear this for a night on the town with the girls, or a classy dinner date!

Your thoughts?

What do you think of this tank? How would you style it? Which look is your fave? Do you ever find amazing pieces at Walmart? Are you a fan of longer hemlines, or do you like to wear shorter skirts? Leave a comment and let me know!

I wont support or shop at Walmart due to their discrimination and unfair treatment of women in the workplace…CF should be doing an article on that instead of supporting their products!

I doubt that Walmart as a whole is discriminatory. I’m sure they have a policy against it. Perhaps some of the millions of stores haven’t been following it, but I will continue to support the corporation.

I love your guys’s outfit posts but I would love to see more for other body shapes. I’m 5’3″ 124 lbs and a 32DDD and its a bit of an obstacle to dress.

Saw this top in Wally world a couple of weeks ago, so cute! I have yet to pick it up yet though. I absolutely adore the last outfit! The longer retro skirt with lilac kitten heels is so refreshing!

I love all three of these outfits and could immediately see myself wearing them, especially the first one. It looks like a great way to stay stylish while casual during exam study time!

Is it just me or is the tank totally see through? I hope not because none of these outfits work for me if it’s see through. Still cute though!

The link for those desert boots only show a black and brown pair, but I love the gray. Anyone know any other stores that may have a gray pair?

Angie – it is a sheer top, which is part of its appeal but also makes it slightly harder to wear.

I think shay monet has a point. It’s one thing to say Ooh cute top but Wallmart does have a terrible reputation for treatment of its employees. That said, to shop entirely ethically is nigh on impossible. You can praise American apparel for avoiding sweat shops, only to face up to the masses of sexual harassment that happens in the company.

I saw this article on Tuesday and went out and bought the purple tank today. I love it and can’t wait to wear it out. It is on the sheer side but I had a black tank on underneath when I tried it on and it looks good.

I love the Miley Cyrus line at Walmart, and even some of their other clothes! I love buying the cheap things that you know will only be “in” or trendy for a short amount of time… they’re easy to rotate and you don’t feel any guilt knowing you spend $7 on a shirt (or even a pair of pants sometimes!) when you realize you wore it two or three times and it’s gone out of style. Way better than paying designer-or even mall prices- for things you can’t wear longer than a couple months, or that you’re going to spill on at a stupid frat party. (Yes, I’m guilty of that one, too…)
