We announced back in November that Target would be launching an exclusive “Designer Collective” collection to celebrate the fifth anniversary of their GO International line.
Target’s GO International Designer Collective will feature 34 dressesfrom 17 past designer collaborations including Rodarte, Thakoon, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen and Libertine.
Dresses range in price from $24.99 to $44.99 and the line will launch in stores and online starting on March 13th through April 10th. As with all designer collaborations, pieces will sell out quickly, so remember to shop early for the best selection.

As much as I’d love to see a brand NEW line from Target, I do believe this is a good marketing move on their part. This “collective” gives girls the opportunity to purchase dresses from past collections that may have been sold out. Personally, I kick myself every time I miss the boat on a specific item from a GO Collection. The items will sell like hotcakes and, before I know it, I find myself without said dress I’ve been coveting. Also, I own the second dress in the first row and love it…but it’s too small on me now! This gives me the opportunity, and so many others, to re buy the dress in another size.
I’d eyed the fourth first and seventh last when those collections launched. I also own the tenth last and love it, but wish I had it in black as well as pink. Maybe they’ll relaunch both colors, if we’re lucky.
so excited for this, and planning on snatching up the Tucker dress the moment it becomes available.
I am actually in LOVE with 8 of these dresses. The best part about them for me is that they’re “wear to work”-able!
I love these dresses! I can’t wait to
Go get them, I think one of the only good
Things about living in
Arkansas is that most people don’t even
Know about these designers so they don’t sell out as quickly here lol 🙂
Jordan, I completely agree with you.. this is an awesome opportunity to pick up dresses that we missed out on!
Betts, I’m wondering the same right now.. I’m not sure how many cuts will be flattering, they all seem to look the same.. but I’m sure it’ll make for a fun shopping trip!
My personal favorites are the 5th, 8th, 31st, and 32nd 🙂
Jovovich-Hawk, the white long sleeve with floral..
Why am I in love…
At first I wasn’t very impressed because they just didn’t seem like anything extraordinary, but looking at each pic individually I found that I really like the two by Rodarte, especially the pink one 🙂
I’m obsessed with #12 Thakoon, the black multi printed dress. I also like #32 the black with white piping short-sleeved dress because it looks work appropriate but you could add accessories to change it up
So, I guess it would be better to buy them online rather than try to find them in the store?
S- I know! I need that floral dress in my life.
Paula- I think it all depends on where you live. If you live in a rural area where a lot of people wouldn’t know about the collection, I would just go to the store. If you live in a large metropolitan area, it would probably be best to buy it online– especially if you’re really adamant about buying a certain dress. Just make sure you know what size you are in the dresses!
I love reading everyone’s picks for their favorite dresses 🙂
I have never been really impressed by any of the collections. Most are badly made and look really cheap. The actual Target brands have much better quality.
disappointed.. a lot of the dress they chose were easiest to find/ most frequently seen on the sale racks! they should have done additional ebay research to see the dresses people seek most/ are willing to pay a lot for.
I am surprised at the styles they brought back from each collection. I always manage to get what I consider the “best” pieces from each collection and I don’t see any of them selected. The Tara Jarmon (2nd) is the only one I’d consider that I missed out on the first time. That Zac Posen pink dress, though cute, was the most ill fitting garment ever. My favorite collections were Rodarte/Anna Sui/Erin Fetherston/Luella Bartley.
