Missoni Resort 2011
Italian fashion house Missoni has been on a roll with their collaborations this year, designing merchandise for Converse, Havaianas and even stroller company Bugaboo. And just last week, Missoni announced yet another designer collaboration in the works — with Target!
Missoni is known for its unique knitwear, abstract patterns and bright colors, which will most likely translate to their lower-priced line. According to Vogue, the collection will debut on Sept. 13 and is set to be Target’s biggest collaboration to date, with over 400 pieces.
The collection will include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as well as items like bedding, dinnerware and other home decor. Racked is reporting that prices will range from $2.99 to $599.99, but most items will be priced under $40.
What do you think of this collaboration? Do you like Missoni? What items do you hope to see in the collection? What item do you think Target will be selling for $600? Be sure to leave a comment and let us know what you think!
