Did you hear that it’s July already? JULY. It took me two full days to realize how quickly it sprung up on me. Sure, I’ve been enjoying these long summer days for the past month, but all of a sudden, Independence Day was nearly here.

If you’re going to be paying homage to our great nation, you are going to need a great outfit. However, you don’t have to deck yourself out in flag-emblazoned shirts and sunglasses with stars and spangles on them; there are lots of fashion-forward ways to work cobalt and red into your outfit without being over-the-top.

We put together four easy and inexpensive looks, so you can celebrate the Fourth of July in style without breaking the bank. All of the outfits below are under $100, and you probably already have some comparable pieces in your wardrobe!

Dinner & Drinks – $73.18

Product Information: Top – UNIQLO, Skirt – Windsor Store, Shoes – Amazon, Bracelet – H&M, Lipstick – Ulta, Nail Polish – Target

This first look is for the kind of girl who prefers to skip the hullabaloo of massive crowds lined up to watch fireworks, and are instead opting for a lower-key meal with friends. You can still be festive for the occasion in a blue-and-white striped skirt. Pair it with a simple white tank and big platform wedges for added height. If you’re craving a little bit of red, a fresh coat of nail polish and a swipe of NYX lipstick will do the trick.

Baseball Game – $78.65

Product Information: Top – Aeropostale, Shorts – H&M, Shoes – H&M, Bag – Daily Look, Sunglasses – Body Central, Bracelets – Body Central

Celebrating America’s birthday with America’s pastime this year? Baseball games call for simple outfits. White shorts and a flowy striped tank work well with white Keds. Grab your sunglasses for the first few innings while it’s still bright. The only accessories you need are some detailed bangles and a carry-all bag. Baseball games always have the best fireworks, so be sure to stay ’til the end!

Backyard BBQ – $99.76

Product Information: Top – Hollister, Shorts – J. Crew Factory, Shoes – Zara, Bag – Forever 21, Rings – C. Wonder

The most traditional way to pay homage to Uncle Sam is by throwing or attending a BBQ. It’s easy to be festive and chic with bright red shorts and your most beloved chambray top. Zara has the best sandals this spring – particularly these white ones with an on-trend stacked heel. This USA bag is so cute you’ll end up sporting it year-round, so you must snatch it up for $4.80.

Swanky Rooftop Party – $97.24

Fancy Fourth of July Outfit
Product Information: Dress – H&M, Shoes – Charlotte Russe, Bag – Forever 21, Bracelet – Wallis Fashion, Earrings – Modcloth

The best fireworks view in the city is always on somebody’s rooftop, so if you’re lucky enough to get an invite to a chic party, be sure to dress the part. This darling flowy dress will keep you cool, but the waist tie gives the frock some shape. White buckled sandals and a cute purse keep this look fresh without going over-the-top. A red wrap bracelet brings this look home, while basic earrings add a little extra glimmer.

What will you be wearing this Fourth of July?

How do you keep your look frugal? Are you more into fireworks or going to dinner? What look is most similar to what you’ll be wearing? Let us know what you think!

The outfits are cute, but white shoes and white shorts at a baseball game are never a good idea( dirt, spilled beer, etc.)
