Spring break is meant to be fun, especially after the torture of going through midterms. I don’t know about you, but for me nothing is more exciting than getting my heart racing on a good roller coaster.

When you’re on the rides, you’re going be flipped in all directions, therefore it’s best to wear shorts so you don’t have to worry about your sundress flying up. I love these comfy green ones – they’re less expected than denim shorts and go with everything.

Adding an oversized t-shirt, plus sneakers and sunglasses is bulletproof when it comes to being comfortable and cool!

For shoes, because there’s going to be a lot of walking sneakers are your best bet; combine them with a pair of white ruffled socks and your feet will thank you at the end of the day! Lastly, putting on some sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 is a must when the sun is beating down on your skin.

Beach Getaway

navy swim suit cover-up, blue ruffled stripped bikini top and bottoms, red canvas bag, straw hat, and white flip flops

Products: Dress – ASOS, Swimsuit – Aerie, Shoes – Old Navy, Bag – Target, Hat – Nordstrom

If the weather is warm enough for y’all, nothing beats going down to the beach to cool down!

With the sunny weather in full view, breaking out all the cute swimsuits like the ruffled blue two piece above is the greatest feeling! Pair the swimsuit with a loose cover-up when you’re walking around and a floppy hat for some shade.

When you have your towel, sunscreen, etc. to carry around, going bag-free isn’t really an option. Bringing a beach bag means you have the perfect way to hold those necessities.

As for shoes, because you will be getting them wet it’s best if you get an inexpensive pair of sandals or flip flops that you don’t mind getting worn down.

Outdoor Concerts

white polka dotted navy romper, light blue mini backpack, brown sandals, gold arrow hair pin, hand sanitizer

Products: Dress – ASOS, Backpack – Urban Outfitters, Shoes – Zappos, Accessories – ASOS, Hand Sanitizer – Target

Nothing completes spring break like going to an outdoor concert!

There’s going to be a lot of people in close proximity to you, which means it’s going to get even hotter from the immense body heat around you. Wearing something loose-fitting and breathable like the blue polka dotted romper and sandals above will keep you cool during the concert!

Adding an accessory like a hair pin to keep your hair out of your face adds a little something to your outfit and it won’t get in your way of dancing.

Having a mini backpack to keep your hands free is a must! When you’re holding your phone in one hand and food in another, you can’t worry about a bag.

In crowded areas, germs are easily spread and when you’re eating, you want to be as sanitary as possible! Bringing a mini hand sanitizer never hurts, especially when you have to use those public single person toilets.
