Happy winter, everyone! Now that the cold weather calls for a change in fashion, it’s time to update your wardrobe. Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to spend tons of money on a closet full of new clothes. All it takes are a few key pieces to update your wardrobe for an entire season. That’s why we’ve narrowed it down to our top 5 trendy and cold-weather friendly picks for winter 2011 - check ‘em out below:

1. Faux Fur

Luxurious faux fur pieces have been spotted everywhere this season and are the perfect way to add some glamour to any ensemble. Wear a faux fur vest or coat to channel your inner Rachel Zoe or start small by rocking some cozy faux fur accessories. Not ready to wear a full-on faux fur piece? Try a coat with fur trim for a hint of glam.

These sweaters have a softly draped neckline, which is super flattering and draws attention to your face. Plus, they’re available in tons of colors and styles. Dress one down with some jeans and a pair of boots or dress it up with a skirt and some fab heels.

I love lace. It’s so chic. Faux fur vests are cute too but I totally hate corduroy pants.
