In the past, clothing for plus-size women usually meant frumpy, dull garments that literally no one wanted to wear. However, that doesn’t have to be the case anymore! Because while shopping for plus-size clothing can be hard — especially when you’re looking for youthful, modern-looking pieces — it’s 1000% possible to find things that are cute, fun, and fashion-forward!
That’s why I was inspired to create three chic plus-size fall outfits that are right on trend for Fall 2019.
Just keep scrolling to see them, and prepare for the compliments to come rolling in!
Plus Size Fall Outfit #1
Ready to turn heads? You will in this super-chic, bombshell ensemble!
To recreate this plus size fall outfit for yourself, tuck a basic white shirt into an of-the-moment animal-print slip skirt. (Or, if you want to switch things up, try knotting the shirt right at the skirt’s waistband.)
Next, throw on a beautiful faux-leather jacket with a luxe faux-fur trim.
Western-inspired boots are all the rage this season. So, slip on this brown leather pair to get in on the trend.
In terms of jewelry, I decided to go for a glam-yet-eclectic vibe with these coily hoop earrings, a chunky chain bracelet, and a coin necklace.
A square-shaped bag with a cool faux-tortoise detail adds structure to the look, while a swipe of bright orange-red lipstick truly takes things to the next level!
Plus Size Fall Outfit #2
You really can’t go wrong with boiler suits for a more pared-down look!
So, for this outfit (which would be perfect for wearing to class), I styled a pretty pink one with a casual denim jacket.
A sweet floral bandana adds a dash of fun to the ensemble. Furthermore, rectangular acetate hoops and a beaded bracelet set make for a chic way to accessorize.
Finally, to complete the look, you can’t go wrong with a classic bucket bag.
Plus Size Fall Outfit #3
I decided to style Outfit #3 around one of Fall’s biggest and easiest-to-wear trends: corduroy!
When done in a neutral color, corduroy pants can be worn in much the same way that regular jeans can. That’s why I chose this cognac-brown pair for Look #3.
For a feminine touch, pair them with a simple-yet-pretty off-white blouse. (Love the ruffled neckline, btw!) In addition, if you want to add some structure and formality to this look — for example, if you have a job or an internship to go to — you can throw a blazer on over top. (Plaid is a particularly stylish option for the season.)
For some boho flair, put on a wide-brim wool hat, as well as a statement necklace, turquoise drop earrings, and a chain bracelet with a baroque pearl charm.
To add even more visual interest, put on a pair of black croc-embossed ankle boots.
To round out the ensemble, choose a sleek, carry-all tote bag in a muted, neutral color.
