K-Pop Fashion Inspiration: Sonamoo’s “I (Knew It)” Music Video

Why not dress like you’re in a k-pop video?

I’m back again with another fashion post inspired by K-pop! This week, I’m featuring Sonamoo, a seven-member girl group that made their debut in 2014. They recently released their new single, “I (knew it),” and I was immediately mesmerized by the music video. Check it out below!

Not only is the music really catchy, but the girls are so stylish and beautiful, and this inspired me to re-create their looks. Here they are!

Look 1

Products: Blouse – H&M, Pants – Express, Shoes – Sam Edelman, Earrings – ASOS, Purse – Modcloth

I wanted to create an outfit incorporating the colors from all three outfits above. I got a long-sleeved floral blouse and paired it with black skinny pants and pointed pumps. I accessorized the look with some pearl earrings and a velvet bag with embroidered closed eyes (since eyes seem to be a recurring theme in the music video.)

Look 2

Products: Dress – Topshop, Tights – J.Crew, Beret – Madewell, Belt – H&M, Shoes – Steve Madden

For this next look, I followed the outfit in the music video and styled a checked mini dress with black tights, a black belt, a navy blue beret, and embellished booties.

Look 3

Products: Jumpsuit – H&M, Shoes – Sam Edelman, Earrings – ASOS, Clutch – Topshop

The final outfit, which is perfect for a party or a night out, incorporates a black velour jumpsuit. I styled it with scalloped block heels, silver hoop earrings, and an embellished clutch to finish.

What Do You Think?

Which outfit would you wear? Which artist or group should I cover next? Leave your comments below!
