Though this year’s theme, Manus x Machina, had some broad interpretations, one thing’s for sure: the 2016 Met Gala is the place to look for fierce fashion inspiration. (IMO, Claire Danes nailed it!)

Below are a few outfits inspired by last week’s star-studded event. The best part? Unlike the Met Gala’s fabulous haute couture, these looks can be worn on an everyday basis.

Look #1: Taylor Swift in Louis Vuitton

As one of this year’s Met Gala co-chairs, all eyes were on Taylor Swift as she walked the red carpet, and she didn’t disappoint in this custom-made dress from Louis Vuitton. Taylor has been rocking an edgier style lately, and I have to say, it’s definitely growing on me.

Alas, metallic snake print dresses are hard to find, so for a similar look, pair a silver crop top with a high-waisted skater skirt. Amp up the style with super-strappy gladiator sandals, then stash your must-haves in a faux snakeskin bag. For the finishing touch, opt for a dark, moody lip color, just like Taylor.

Look #2: Selena Gomez in Louis Vuitton

Selena Gomez‘s Louis Vuitton gown may not have been everyone’s favorite, but I actually loved its more relaxed vibe. Pairing a longer dress with boots looks oh-so-cool, plus the leather bustier adds a bit of an edge.

Snag this look for less by layering a faux leather bustier over a midi-length slip dress. (Bustiers not your style? You could also try a leather jacket or vest.) Lace up these kick-ass heeled combat boots and slip on some circle sunnies. Accessorize with a cuff bracelet, pull your hair into a high ponytail, and you’ll be good to go.

Look #3: Lorde in Valentino

Lorde rocked the chiffon-and-arm-cast combo in a Valentino gown that is pretty much the princess dress of my dreams. In fact, I’m still swooning over that multi-colored tulle.

Capture Lorde’s glam and girly look by pairing a pretty tulle skirt with a satin cami. Grab a pair of comfy yet chic embellished sandals, then accessorize with several gold rings. Finally, mimic those rosy lips and cheeks by using this matte multiple from NARS.

Look #4: Kendall Jenner in Versace

When Donatella Versace herself picks out your Met Gala gown, you know you’re doing something right. This dress is the perfect mix between sexy and sporty, and Kendall Jenner looked her bombshell best.

When I saw Kendall’s gown, I immediately thought of swimwear, and you can rock her look for less in one of the white swimsuits below. Each one has a halter neckline and macramé detailing, just like the Versace dress. Whichever suit you choose, be sure to pair it with a sparkly blue mani/pedi and bronzed skin à la Kendall.
