With the warmer weather finally here, we’re excited to bust out our favorite summer pieces and wear all of our favorite prints – especially polka dots!

Whether we’re wearing something polka-dotted as our statement piece or just as a headband, we’re obsessed with this pretty print. It can be girly, sophisticated, and even edgy, depending on how it’s styled.

To get you started on your own polka dot obsession, below I’ve created three different outfit ideas to show you how you can wear polka dots for the warmer weather!

1. White and Black Polka Dotted Top

In most areas of the country, it’s not yet summer weather, but it’s still pretty nice outside. This outfit is a great choice for days like we’re experiencing now — think temperatures in the 60s and low 70s.

This pretty and sophisticated outfit begins with a white polka dotted v-neck with sleeves — this light blouse is breezy but gives you coverage (and it’d look great with cutoffs once temperatures climb!). Pair it with some black jeans and finish the look off with some color by slipping on a pair of burgundy scalloped flats!

2. Blue and White Polka Dotted Dress

This outfit is perfect for those days where you just want to throw something on and be done with but still look presentable. Whether you’re going to an early brunch or just out on a museum date, this outfit will be perfect for those kinds of occasions.

When your main clothing piece is a ruffled polka dot dress, you don’t need tons of extras. This girly flounce dress is wonderful to wear on those hotter spring/summer days. The flowy and loose material will keep you cool despite the sun beating down on your skin.

As I explained earlier, the dress itself is the look! To keep the main focus on the dress, just add a pair of hexagon earrings and a simple black shoulder bag. Easy, breezy, and totally adorable.

3. Blue and White Polka Dotted Jumpsuit

Any outfit with a jumpsuit involved is bound to make you look more fashion-conscious. As you may know from our recent posts, jumpsuits are going to be huge this summer!

Instead of going for classic black and white polka dots, we decided to switch it up with navy polka dots on this polished jumpsuit. Again, we want to keep accessories minimal so the focus will be on the print. Extras like a black watch and dainty stud earrings will pull the look together. With espadrilles making their way back into fashion, these grey ones are the perfect pick for summer 2018.
