I’ve finally finished all my finals and I’m getting ready to move out of my apartment for summer! I can’t believe this year is over – it truly flew by.

With summer break arriving, I love looking at bright new nail colors for summer. This season the colors are not disappointing! I’m loving the new ones I’m seeing and I can’t wait to show you, so keep reading to check them out.

Butter London Nail Lacquer in Coming Up Roses

Butter London Nail Lacquer in Coming Up Roses – $8 (on sale)

These normally super-expensive Butter polishes are on sale at Ulta so I knew I had to get one to add to my collection. This dusty pink was the perfect pick.

This color is my obsession right now, and the formula of this polish is to die for. It’s so smooth and incredibly shiny that you almost don’t need a top coat. It’s a beautiful shade and will go perfectly with all of your summer looks.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Show Us Your Tips

OPI Nail Lacquer in Show Us Your Tips – $10

I normally don’t go for polishes with shimmer, but this OPI nail polish really caught my eye because of the beautiful denim-purple shade.

The formula is typical of OPI polishes, so you need two coats. However, it’s such a striking and different shade that it’s worth it. The shimmer just adds a slight bit of extra attention on your nails! Give this a try if you want a unique nail polish for summer.

Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish in Charlotte Villas

Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish in Charlotte Villas – $15

The formula of these “gel effect” polishes by Nails Inc. is being hyped up so much on all the blogs, so I was really curious to test it out. Overall, the formula is not as “thick” as gel is, but the polish is definitely shiny and lasts a long time on your nails. Overall, I’m a fan.

This color, a super-bright coral-orange, is a total mood-enhancer and just a stunning shade. This is the perfect polish to complement a summer tan!

Essie Nail Polish in Stones N Roses

Essie Nail Polish in Stones N Roses – $8.50

This new shade by Essie is my favorite of the bunch. Essie’s polishes are always so beautiful and on-trend, and this light peachy-coral pink was the perfect addition to my collection.

I currently have this on my nails, and I am obsessed. It’s a pretty spring color but it’s also almost a neutral! (It’s kind of hard to explain unless you see it in person.) I feel like I can wear this anywhere I go. The formula is typical of Essie nail polishes, which I actually like better than OPI, but it’s personal preference. Give this a try! It’s such a beautiful shade.

What do you think?

Do you have any new nail polishes for summer? What do you think of these ones? Let me know in the comments!
