Remember how, in the early 2010s, mint green was EVERYWHERE?

Well, now another shade of green is here to take over your wardrobe: pistachio.

As with many color trends, pistachio seems a bit hard to wear at first; however, once you get the hang of it, it’s actually quite easy to style the pistachio color trend into some cute outfits. This is especially true because, like mint, pistachio looks great in any iteration, and is so easy to pair with other colors as well.

Below, I’ve styled three stylish looks for different occasions featuring pistachio green.

Just keep scrolling to see them and get inspired!

Pistachio Color Trend – Outfit #1

How to wear the pistachio color trend: Outfit with green turtleneck, wide leg jeans, purple bag

Products: T-Shirt – & Other Stories (Also love this henley style!), Ankle Boots – Mango, Jeans – Everlane, Earrings – Anthropologie, Ring – Shopbop, Bag – Urban Outfitters

For Outfit #1, I decided to create something that you can wear to class.

To copy it, begin by tucking a pistachio lettuce-hem mock-neck t-shirt into a pair of light-wash, cropped, wide-leg jeans.

Next, put on a pair of black heeled ankle boots, which add height and balance the jeans’ silhouette.

Pretty faux-opal stud earrings add just the right amount of sparkle, while an engraved ring adds a bit of retro flair.

For the finishing touch, grab a cute lilac bag, which creates some lovely contrast with the color of the top.

Outfit #2

How to wear the pistachio color trend - outfit with green sweater, cream jeans, pink tank, beige ankle boots

Products: Cardigan – H&M, Camisole – J.Crew, Pants – Nordstrom, Earrings – Revolve, Bracelet – Revolve, Necklace – Revolve, Bag – Mango, Ankle Boots – Urban Outfitters

This soft and feminine look is great for days when you want to stay cozy, but don’t want to look too casual.

To get the look, begin by layering a sweet and silky pastel-pink camisole underneath an oversized pistachio cardigan.

Then, put on a pair of of-the-moment pale beige skinny corduroy pants. Light beige heeled ankle boots are a great alternative to black or another dark color. This is because they blend more harmoniously with the outfit’s color scheme.

You can’t go wrong with classic gold jewelry pieces with modern twists, such as these chunky mini hoops, an oversized link bracelet, and an asymmetrical pearl-and-chain pendant necklace.

To complete the ensemble, pick up a trendy beige snake-print crossbody bag.

Outfit #3

Three Trendy Ways to Wear Pistachio Green Outfit #3

Products: Sweater – & Other Stories, Knee-High Boots – Nordstrom, Earrings – Anthropologie, Ring – Revolve, Bracelet – Anthropologie, Bag – & Other Stories, Skirt – Aritzia, Scarf – & Other Stories, Coat – H&M

This classy and elegant look is perfect for wearing both during the day and at night.

To re-create it for yourself, start off by throwing on a cute mohair-blend pistachio sweater.

Next, half or fully tuck the sweater into a sophisticated faux-leather pencil skirt with a tie waist.

I love the look of knee-high boots with a midi or maxi skirt. That’s why I chose these sleek black heeled ones for this outfit.

Since it’s going to get cold in many places pretty soon (*insert crying emoji here*), I picked out a plush teddy coat. For extra warmth, you can also style it with a classic gray fringed scarf.

For jewelry, I decided to go for an eclectic vibe with a pair of fringed hoops, a curved pavé bar ring, and a hammered cuff.

Finally, add a super-fashion-forward green croc-effect mini bag, which can be worn cross-body, or carried by its quirky resin top-handle.
