This post will show you how to shop Sephora’s Spring Sale, and the must-have beauty products to buy at up to 20% off.

Someone hold me back, because the Sephora Spring Sale is here and it’s going to take all my willpower not to spend all my money on beauty products during this epic sale!

Twice a year, Sephora offers a storewide (and sitewide) sale where you can save up to 20% off on your purchases, depending on your Beauty Insider Status.

The sale has already started for Rouge status Beauty Insiders, and will run through April 19, 2021. Here’s how it shakes out: Rouge members get 20% off from now through 4/19. VIBs get 15% off starting on Tuesday, 4/13, and Insiders get 10% off starting on Thursday, 4/15. Use code OMGSPRING.

To become a Beauty Insider, all you have to do is sign up with your email on and you’ll instantly get access to the sale. As you continue to make purchases at Sephora using your Beauty Insider account, you will be able to accrue points and move up in Beauty Insider status, which will get you a higher discount.

Now, here are some tips for shopping the Sephora sale.

Before I start adding a million things to my Sephora cart like a madwoman, I try to break down the product categories and first assess what I really need. Have I run out of concealer? Do I need a new shampoo and conditioner? Is my mascara drying up and needs to be replaced?

My advice is to first focus on any of your necessities that need re-stocking before shopping for the fun, more frivolous products (even though it can be tempting not to!). This is also a great time to re-assess which beauty products may not be working for you anymore, and try a different product instead.

Now that we’ve established the basics, let’s get to the good part: the must-have beauty items you need to grab during the sale!

Read on for Part 1 of my top beauty product recommendations to buy from Sephora’s Spring Sale.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream

This lip cream from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna has become my obsession since it came out. It has a creamy consistency with a glossy look and plenty of pigment, and it isn’t sticky!

Because this lip product is so pigmented, I often wear it in place of lipstick. But whether you wear it alone, over lip liner, or over lipstick too, it just makes your lips look luscious.

I got this in the shade “Fenty Glow,” which is a “universal rose nude” shade that is super flattering; it comes in four other hues, as well.

Note that there is no shimmer in this lip product, which makes it unique from other glosses, and gives you a more natural-looking finish.

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector

This is my holy grail of hair products. If you have dry or damaged hair (or even normal hair just in need of some TLC), Olaplex No. 3 will totally transform your hair. It features patented, bond-building technology which helps to repair hair damage, reduce breakage, and strengthen hair from within.

Think of this as a miracle-working hair mask that can save your strands if they’ve suffered chemical, mechanical, or thermal damage (I’m looking at you, flat iron).

Pro tip: keep this treatment in your hair for longer than the minimum of 10 minutes – try sleeping with it in your hair overnight for even better results.

Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette

This eyeshadow palette has become such a staple for me; the combination of warm, neutral colors, with both matte and shimmer shades, are so versatile!

You can create many different eye looks with this palette, from more natural daytime looks to darker, smoky nighttime looks. You can also play around with either all-matte, all-shimmer, or combination of matte and shimmer shades for even more variety.

The eyeshadow formula is infused with Amazonian clay, which allows for super-smooth blending and a fabulous color payoff.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

As someone who is pretty lazy when it comes to self-tanning, these liquid self-tanning drops are a total must-have. They make it so easy to achieve a glow!

All you have to do is mix a few drops of this product with your own moisturizer, and you’ll soon see a tan develop on your skin.

Available in light, medium, and dark, you can customize your color by picking which shade of bronze is right for you and your skin tone. The drops also help to even out your skin tone, reduce redness, and hydrate your skin with ingredients like coconut oil and avocado oil.

Best of all, this is a Clean at Sephora product, meaning it is formulated without a list of over 50 undesirable ingredients like parabens and phthalates. It is also vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

I recommend using these drops mixed with your nighttime moisturizer before you go to bed – you’ll wake up tan and glowing.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

Liquid makeup products have become a favorite of mine – they give off such a dewey, natural look.

I love the look of “naturally flushed” cheeks, and this liquid blush from Selena Gomez’s brand Rare Beauty will give you just that.

A little goes a long way with this blush: just a drop or two is all you need for major color payoff on your cheeks, which you can blend in with your fingers or a sponge blender. Because of this, this product will last you a long time, too!

This long-lasting blush comes in shades that have either a radiant finish (my personal fave) or a matte finish, depending on your preference. I especially like the color “Joy” (shown above) for this time of the year, since it has a peachy tone which feels summery.

You can also wear this blush alone without a full face of makeup and for a fresh, sun-kissed look.
