You hear that voice? It’s Katy Perry‘s latest hit! “Roar” has been blowing up the radio since its release, and for good reason. After taking a little bit of a break after her last single, this pop music princess is back to claim her new title – queen of the jungle.

She just released a video for the tune this week, and you can watch it right here:

Katy makes the whole stranded-in-the-jungle thing look absolutely adorable, am I right? Surprisingly, this music video and song can provide the perfect source of unique fashion inspiration for your everyday ensembles. Below, I’ve created two different outfits inspired by Katy Perry’s “Roar.” Scroll down to see both looks:

Eye of the Tiger

Roar outfit 1

Top, Jacket, Shorts, Shoes, Necklace, Bracelet

Rock a fierce aesthetic inspired by Katy Perry’s looks from the video. Wear a tiger graphic tee paired with black denim shorts. Throw on a utility jacket and a pair of combat boots for some edge. Complete the outfit with a couple bold accessories, in the form of a link necklace and studded bracelet!

Hear Me Roar

Roar outfit 2

Top, Jeans, Shoes, Bag, Necklace

Wear a colorful and trendy getup fit for any queen of the jungle! Start by pairing a floral top with colored jeans. Slip on a pair of strappy sandals, then grab a faux-leather crossbody for a neutral contrast. Finish the outfit with a bold spiked statement necklace.

  1. This is great! Could you guys do one for Lily Allen’s song “Hard Out Here”? It’s a great social commentary about the expectations of women, and can I just mention that Lily Allen looks AMAZING in this video?!
