The midi skirt trend has expanded to the midi dress trend for this upcoming season. This modest hemline is a welcome change for those of us who are getting a little weary of the tried and true minidress look.

A button-front midi dress, like this bold tangerine one from Topshop, is an effortlessly stylish piece to add to your Summer wardrobe.

Keep reading if you love the midi dress trend and want to learn more about how to style it!

The end of the semester coupled with the nice weather always inspires me to look extra nice for class. A midi dress is the perfect fashion choice for class on those days when you want to look extra chic!

Pale blue touches of color will tone down the bright orange of this funky midi dress without detracting from it. A large scalloped tote, like this one from Nordstrom, is a sophisticated essential for all your day-to-day accessories.

A simple cotton scarf tied around your neck will add a final touch of flair!

A midi dress is also a great choice for a night out on the town. I love bold hues like orange for summer nights.

A gorgeous turquoise pendant necklace will draw attention to your bright and bold appearance.

These beautiful colors deserve all the attention so keep the rest of the look simple. Gold sandals and a white and gold clutch are the perfect finishing touches for this look.
