Love it or dread it, Valentine’s Day is almost here… so it’s time to start thinking about what outfit you’re going to wear.

Whether you’re going out on a fancy date, spending a quiet night in, or hitting the town with your besties, finding that perfect outfit can be hard. Being fashion-forward and festive, without being cheesy, can be tricky on a holiday.

I put together three insanely adorable looks for VDay 2020. You’re sure to fall in love with them at first sight!

Check them out below.

Outfit #1: Fancy Date

Valentine's Day outfit 1: ruffled blush pink blouse, a-line black skirt, tights, and heeled booties.

So, you scored a fancy date for Valentine’s Day… congrats!

Whether you’re going out with a new fling or have a romantic date with a long term S.O., Valentine’s Day calls for an outfit that makes you feel like the best version of yourself, while simultaneously making your partner do a double-take when they lay eyes on you.

To get the look, begin by pairing a pale pink feminine ruffled blouse with a flouncy knee-length black skirt. Add some opaque black tights for warmth and to create a sleek leg line.

Since it’s the day to celebrate love in all its forms, I thought it’d be appropriate to add a pair of cute heart hoop drop earrings, along with a lover’s knot ring duo.

For makeup, keep things classic by applying bright red lipstick with timeless black liquid liner.

Finally, slip on a pair of trendy pointed-toe boots, grab a bright pink mini bag, and prepare for your date’s jaw to hit the floor!

Outfit #2: Quiet Night In

Valentine's Day outfit 2: pink crewneck sweater, baby pink jeans, white scarf, and tassled loafers.

Products: Sweater – H&M, Loafers – H&M, Jeans – Old Navy, Lip Balm – Glossier, Scarf – Old Navy

Whether your Valentine’s Day plans consist of a quiet night in with your “person,” or a small group of close friends, I’ve got you covered with this cute, laid-back outfit.

To copy it for yourself, put on on a fun bubblegum pink sweater with slightly puffed sleeves.

After that, throw on your favorite pair of jeans; I’m partial to these pale pink boyfriend-fit ones for a totally monochrome look.

You can never go wrong with a preppy pair of tasseled loafers. The same goes for an oversized scarf which adds an extra flair to this low-key look.

Finally, add a swipe of Glossier’s lovely-smelling Rose Balm Dot Com to your lips for a subtle hint of color.

Outfit #3: Hitting the Town

Valentine's Day outfit 3: asymmetrical hemline blue-grey blouse, faux leather leggings, motorcycle jakcet, and offwhite booties.

Products: Blouse – Zara, Leggings – Nordstrom, Jacket – H&M, Ankle Boots – Zara, Earrings – Mango, Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set – Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Bag – Mango

Don’t have a date this VDay? So what?! Whether you’re single by circumstance or by choice, you’ve decided to make the best of the holiday by hitting the town with your BFFs!

Naturally, you’ll need a killer outfit for Valentine’s Day. This edgy ensemble does the trick just fine.

To recreate it, start by layering a cool tie-waisted, asymmetrical hem blouse over a pair of faux-leather leggings. Then, throw on a super-chic fabric motorcycle jacket.

Off-white ankle boots add some contrast. To accessorize, pair of geometric silver hoops are a modern (and totally on-trend!) way to add some shine.

Speaking of shine, don’t be afraid to be a little extra with your makeup! This Fenty Diamond Bomb lip gloss and highlighter set is just perfect for that.

Last of all, to complete the look, pick up an early-2000s-inspired baguette bag. Then, get ready to dance the night away in style!
