Wednesdays have been “Would You Wear?” days here at College Fashion for a very long time, but never has a trend come around that’s so splendid that we’ve jumped on board without hesitation. In fact, the recent surge of midi rings has made us wonder why, before their emergence, we’ve never even entertained the possibility of simply moving rings further up our fingers.

As you’ve likely pieced together by now, midi rings are smaller in circumference than the average ring, and made for the space above your knuckles. Frequently you’ll see this style in stackable form and dainty ones are particularly popular. These rings have been super popular so far this year and we see them continuing to trend into 2014.

Now we want to know… would YOU wear midi rings?

Do you already have some? Do you think this jewelry style is around to stay? Do you like the statement versions or the thin, dainty types? Leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.

Cute! I could see people wearing these and pulling them off. Personally any kind of jewlery other than my earrings make me crazy, but the rings look cute. :)

Love the look of midi rings, but whenever I try to wear them, they always fall off. Something about the shape of my hands doesn’t agree with the style. So if I could wear them, I would, but I can’t.

These are cute but I’d be worried about them falling off my fingers, especially if I’m doing anything active or sweating on a hot summer day. I would need to try one on in a store before I decided to buy one

I’ve only seen people wear these with other rings and kind of stack them (and they’ve been doing it… since like, 2005?). It always looks cute! I don’t know how a hand full of only midi rings would look though lol

Pheobe used to wear these on Friends! Talk about trends never going out of style. My room mate wears these and looks adorable but I don’t have the patience for rings. They’re sweet if you have the right look though.

I think they’re really cute, and I have tried to wear them, but they just don’t look the same on me. Maybe it’s because I have short fingers.

I have been wearing ‘midi’ rings for the past 8 years and until now didn’t know they were called anything other than ‘rings’ :) I have 20 rings on 10 fingers and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Really diggin’ on these styles tho! Wicked nice!
