Am I the only one that still believes leggings are not pants?

    I’m with Iris.
All the tops need to be longer…even if the leggings are leather.

I’m with both comments above me – these shirts are WAY to short to be worn with just leggings. I’ve been on college campus for 8 weeks, and leggings as pants is a trend that needs to go away as quickly as possible!!

My biggest problem has not to do with the leggings as pants debate (although these are clearly WAY too sheer to try to pull of without an appropriate length top), but the fact that these aren’t even faux leather leggings, nor are they marketed as such. It’s a “glossy jersey” material according to the H&M website and they look more like a (very thin) dupe for AA disco pants…disco/glossy pants/leggings ARE NOT the same as faux leather leggings/pants…those are 2 totally different textures!

If you have the dough, I’d suggest going with Black Milk’s Wet Look black leggings. They’re thick, sturdy, and with enough suction to work as pants if you’re daring enough, with no see-through. They make my legs look criminal, I’m serious.

I love H&M, but there are better leggings at places like Forever 21 at a comparable price.

Otherwise, love that wrap jacket in the first outfit.

I bought a similar pair the other day at K-Mart, I plan on using them as part of a cat costume for Halloween. I’ve also been wearing them with long chunky sweaters and boots.

I agree with the leggings not being pants thing. Almost daily now I see people that are wearing leggings as pants at my school, but it doesn’t end at school–even at the store I see people wear them, and they’re even advertised on clothing websites as being pants. Especially this year, it seems to be one of the biggest trends ever. This look doesn’t flatter a lot of people. I wonder why the heck this trend ever even started. To me (how I prefer to wear them), leggings are best left under a long tunic, dress, skirt, or shorts.
