What to Wear in: Jeju Island

Jeju Island is located off the coast of South Korea and is a popular getaway destination due to it being a one hour flight from Seoul. In fact, the Seoul to Jeju flight is the world’s busiest flight route by far, so you’ll always be able to catch a flight from the capital if you decide to go on this quick getaway. The island itself is volcanic (90% of its surface is basalt), which makes for stark cliffs and beautiful beaches. It is also home to the highest mountain in South Korea.

Since Jeju is a very popular vacation and honeymoon spot, it is always “tourist” season and its proximity to Seoul means it’s filled with fashionable visitors. However, Jeju Island gets very cold and extremely windy, so bundle up in a teddy coat and cute sweater. Loose pants and cozy, fleece-lined rain booties will come in handy when you’re traipsing around the island for hours! Add some shiny earrings for an effortless look.
