I definitely think wearing sweats on a Saturday morning to grab breakfast at the cafeteria is okay. PJs with funny bright colors is a little silly. But college is not just a place of academia. It's our home. We don't have to make a fashion statement 24/7. Even famous people like to unwind on the weekends. Aside from that, I agree withe everything here!

I don't think I've ever found a flat casual shoe that's as comfortable as athletic sneakers. I don't have any foot problems or anything like that, but they're the default casual shoe for me, especially with jeans. I own a few pairs of fashionable sneakers, converse and the like (I can't stand ballet flats), but I don't wear them if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking or standing. I'd rather be barefoot.

I love these! They totally work. And judging by he picture of denim-on-denim, I don't think anyone should ever try it.

About flip-flops.
I'm from Russia, and it is a loooot of snow every winter here.
It is just impossible to go out in flip-flops. People will think you're crazy!!
And I just can't understand how girls could wear it in winter even when it is not very much snow.
I think that flip-flops are for summer, beaches, heat..

Denim on denim should never happen! I don't care if the runways make it trendy...it's just not okay in any situation.

And we could not agree more...being over dressed is the way to go. Don't be afraid to break out that sequin jacket for day!

My school is one of those small ones where all that people do to be popular is be athletic. So every single girl in my school breaks that tennis with jeans rule. I personally always thought it looked wrong and now I know that it is wrong!!

Why do people keep suggesting flats like they're the ultimate comfort shoe made out of unicorn fur and babies' hair? Cheap flats have zero arc support. When you walk, your arc is what absorbs the shock of your weight as you step down. For people who have flat feet (no arcs), it really kills your feet to wear flats. If you're so into fashion, buy good, expensive flats that are sure to have arcs.

And I laughed out loud when I saw people telling those with muscular problems/feet problems to go find cute shoes that fit their problems instead of wearing doctor-recommended/comfortable shoes. That's like in Mean Girls when Regina George decorated her brace with flowers. Enough is enough, people. I love clothes and looking good, but when your health is on the line, you got to know when to stop.

I disagree with a few. I have seen sports shoes look good with jeans. I have seen jeans and jean jackets or shirts look Ok too. It just depends. I like sweat pants worn as pants like with heels, so there goes that rule.
I agree with the first and the last rule. Never wear white to someone elses wedding! Very rude. And don't wear things that don't make you feel good.
