I run. And I can assure you no one will ever make a casual shoe as comfortable as my running shoes (or better for your feet). Cute shoes might look better and be cheaper, but they can cause some pain and damage too. Flats=no arch support. Being an athlete, I intend to keep my feet happy. Therefore, if I'm doing a lot of walking and don't need to be dressed up, I will continue to wear my running shoes and jeans. Although running shoes don’t look particularly good with jeans, I wouldn’t put it on a list of fashion rules. I run. And I can assure you no one will ever make a casual shoe as comfortable as my running shoes (or better for your feet).

If anyone wears white to my wedding other than me, I WILL punch them out. OK, Bridezilla moment over. That said, I don't necessarily agree with rule #8. Sometimes, if something just too fashion-fabulous for words, I'll wear it even if I'm in agony. Beauty is pain! I have an ADORABLE pair of plaid stiletto pumps that I just can't get enough of.
