Who Is Behind It?

Briana (an alias) is the name behind this blog. I’m a blond, blue-eyed college senior and I attend a large-ish university in New England, USA. I’m completely obsessed with high fashion, but unfortunately wasn’t blessed with rich parents. I’ve learned the hard way how to manage my money and still dress well. I’m all about well calculated splurges on designer pieces every so often and style on a budget the rest of the time.

And yes in case you were wondering, I run this site myself. I don’t have a team of writers like some of those other college student blogs. This site is run 100% by one person, and it’s a lot of work but I LOVE it!

My Favorite Designers are Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Balenciaga, Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Gucci, and Alexander Wang. For my designer denim fix, I like True Religion Jeans, J Brand skinnies, Seven for all Mankind, and Hudson. I have a taste for Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton handbags, even though I probably won’t get my first for many many years. I lust over Manolos like any true fashion addict, and don’t even ask me what I would give for a pair of Christian Louboutin heels (edit, as of 8/29/08 I have my first pair!)

On the cheap, I’m into fabulous yet cheap stores like H&M, Target, Charlotte Russe and Forever 21. Vintage is also an obsession for me. Mix that all together with some designer pieces, and you’ll have somewhat of a picture of my style. Oh, and like any college girl, I also adore Victoria’s Secret Pink everything and own a pair of Havaianas in every color under the sun.
