Class to Night Out: Colored Denim

The colored jeans trend has been around for awhile, but personally, I’ve never been a huge fan – until now, that is. This trend has really come into its own lately, offering a complete palette of amazing colors to suit every sense of style, instead of just your typical bright pinks, electric blues and neon greens.
Whether your favorite pair is a funky citron yellow, a pretty coral or a subtle purple, you can wear colored jeans in almost any situation. That’s why this week I’ll be showing you how to style a pair of colored jeans for day or night, helping you put a fresh new spin on the boring old blue jean.
Colored Jeans: Class
Jeans, Blouse, Flats, Belt, Ring
No matter what color jeans you choose (I love these mint green skinnies for spring!), try pairing them with a girly blouse in a coordinating color – you’ve got to love the adorable cat print on this one from Modcloth. Break it up a bit with a neutral toned belt, and choose accessories in bold, contrasting colors to keep from looking too matchy-matchy.
Colored Jeans: Night Out
Jeans, Top, Clutch, Pumps, Earrings, Necklace
To glam up your look for night, pair your jeans with a basic top to make the color really pop. This asymmetrical black top balances out the jeans and is still subtly sexy. Get a little wild with a pair of leopard print pumps and funky jewelry: I’m in love with these geometric earrings – they almost look like fangs. Complete the look with a clutch in one of spring’s hottest colors.
