When we say that mixed greens are going to be all the rage this fall, we’re not talking about your favorite leafy vegetables. Ever since Pantone declared two shades of green to be this season’s colors, we’ve been noticing a palette of green shades in stores and on the streets.
To be specific, Ultramarine Green (Pantone 18-5338) and Bright Chartreuse (Pantone 14-0445) are Pantone’s chosen green hues. Variations are being seen together everywhere; it’s usually a hunter green dress or top paired with a chartreuse or mint accessory.
Even if you’re not a matchy-matchy person, this trend is particularly chic and easy to wear. In fact, cool hues of greens are the perfect way to transition into fall. We can’t help but give this trend two green thumbs up. (Sorry, couldn’t help myself!)
Here’s how we’d wear it…
Product Information: Top – Modcloth, Shorts – Kohls, Shoes- ALDO, Earrings – Bauble Bar, Bangles – J. Crew, Bracelet – Zappos
Would you wear mixed greens?
Is this trend one you’re going to try out this fall? How would you wear it? Do you have any tips for pairing different shades of the same color? Leave a comment and let us know!
I really like all the outfits though I don’t know if I’ll wear anything that is Bright Chartreuse because I personally don’t like that color.. But I definitely love dark green with a lighter green 🙂
I know what I’m going to buy… Haha I would definitely wear mixed greens this look is fresh and bold. Great post!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes!! Green is my go-to color and my absolute favorite color, so I will be wearing the heck out of this trend this fall! YES!!
As a redhead, I’m thanking the fashion gods for this trend. Ready for pastels that make my skin look pasty as can be to be out and darker colors to be in 😀
all I wear are earthy colors (blue, green, red, brown, black, and white) so definitely would wear this!
I love greens! Definitely looking forward to this!
