The turtleneck gets a bad rap for being outdated and unflattering. However the rising trend of turtleneck dresses is out to prove the stereotype wrong. Long, short, curve-hugging, or slouchy, turtleneck dresses come in every style with one common thread: partial to full coverage of the neck.

Despite their warmth, this style will always have its critics. We are more accepting over here at College Fashion. We can even picture dolling them up for a night on the town. When paired with wedge booties or patterned leggings, we think this style could easily be adopted into any college girl's wardrobe.
