Would You Wear... a Double-Slit Dress or Skirt?

If you thought Angelina Jolie's leg was the last news you'd read about leg trends, think again. All of a sudden, the double slit skirt is storming runways and red carpets alike. This strut-worthy style features two high leg slits in a skirt or dress. They are most frequently seen on maxi dresses, but Michael Kors (middle) proves that this look can be done on shorter skirts as well.

If you're a little nervous about rocking two thigh-high slits, you could always try to find a dress similar to Taylor Swift's Elie Saab gown from the 2013 Brit Awards (as seen in the photo above). Her dress was a nod to the popular trend, but incorporated the look in a more modest way, since it had mesh paneling covering her legs rather than the typical cut-outs. Mesh overlay in place or not, though, it takes a bold person to wear this trend!
