Fabulous Find of the Week: Wet Seal Striped Sweater

October 20, 2014 in Shopping by Ashley - Flagler College

I’ll admit it: I own one (or ten) too many striped tops. However, that doesn’t stop me from picking up another one when it’s as perfect as this week’s Fabulous Find. This black-and-tan striped sweater may be neutral, but it’s far from boring. The textured knit and wider stripes looks so chic for fall, plus its sophisticated and classic vibe means it can easily go from day to night. The best part? This sweater is on sale for $18 at Wet Seal!

Simply scroll down to check out this Fab Find, as well as three cute ways to wear a striped sweater this fall:

Outfit Inspiration

If you like this cheap and chic sweater, then you’re going to love the outfits we put together for inspiration. Read on to find out three stylish ways to wear this week’s Fabulous Find:

Outfit #1

Wet seal striped sweater, colored skinnies, riding boots

Product Info: Sweater- Wet Seal, Jeans- Charlotte Russe, Necklace- Sole Society, Shoes- Target, Nail Polish- NARS

This sweater works so well for casual looks, and I especially love the idea of pairing it with high-waisted skinny jeans in an autumnal forest green hue. These riding boots have a chic and polished vibe, plus the black and brown faux leather looks great against the colored skinnies. Glam things up with a beaded statement necklace, then pick up on the warm tones in that necklace with a bold, red-orange nail polish.

Outfit #2

Wet seal striped sweater, black skort, pointed flats

Product Info: Sweater- Wet Seal, Ear Cuff- Nasty Gal, Lipgloss- Smashbox, Clutch- Macy’s, Skort- New Look, Shoes- Sole Society

For a dressier outfit, wear this Fab Find with a black textured skort. Pointy-toe flats look elegant, but are still comfy enough to wear when you’re going to be on your feet for long periods of time. Edge the ensemble up with a fierce leopard print clutch and a trendy crystal ear cuff. Complete the look with a swipe of deep plum lipgloss.

Outfit #3

Wet seal striped sweater, bootcut jeans, ankle boots

Product Info: Sweater- Wet Seal, Jeans- American Eagle Outfitters, Rings- ASOS, Shoes- Sole Society, Bag- H&M

Create a classically casual look for class by wearing the sweater with a pair of bootcut jeans. Low-heeled ankle booties are comfy yet chic, while a crimson-colored tote adds a pop of color. For the finishing touch, accessorize with a bunch of sleek gold rings.
