These trendy flats are sure to spice up any outfit!
Publish date:

Lace-up flats seem to be all the rage these days. Everywhere I turn, I see them, from runways to magazine spreads, to style blogs! And I can understand why -- not only are they super modern and on-trend, but the lace-up detail adds a bit of flair to an otherwise classic and feminine shoe, making them perfect for class, date night, or even the office.

This week's Fabulous Find is a great way to try out the trend without shelling out a lot of cash. Target currently has this pair of adorable lace-up flats for under $25, even though they look twice the price! Once spring finally starts to roll around, these flats are sure to be your go-to, so grab them while you can.

To let these statement shoes be the highlight, I suggest pairing them with simple, classic looks. Here are a few ideas:

Outfit #1

Products: Shirt, Jeans, Flats, Hat, Earrings

In this clean, minimalist look, the shoes are the statement piece. Start with a white button-down and black skinny jeans for a crisp yet simple outfit, then add these lace-up flats for a trendy pop of color. Keep the other accessories neutral, like pearl earrings and a black hat.

Outfit #2

Products: Dress, Flats, Bag, Earrings

If you work in a creative office environment, this could be the perfect look to wear on the job. Pair the trendy flats with a more classic floral wrap dress for a professional yet fun vibe. For accessories, stick to a go-with-everything neutral tote and gold hoop earrings.

Outfit #3

Products: Tee, Jeans, Jacket, Flats, Bag, Watch

For a casual-chic street style look, pair a striped top with distressed skinny jeans and these standout flats. If there's still some chill in the air, throw on a black jacket as well. Lastly, accessorize with a sophisticated gold watch and crossbody bag.
