WWD is reporting that actress Eva Longoria will soon be launching her own clothing line.
Longoria has teamed up with Sunrise Brands to create the collection– the same brand that is backing Melissa McCarthy's upcoming apparel line, Seven7.
Though the line is in its "beginning phases" right now, we do know that the women's apparel collection will launch in fall 2016. There are also plans to eventually expand with shoes, accessories, and bags.
No word on prices yet, though Longoria told WWD she believes "you don’t need to spend a lot of money to look great."
Jackie Swerz, Sunrise’s chief marketing officer, spoke about the decision to partner with Longoria:
“The concept of a fashion collection with Eva Longoria immediately struck our company as an exciting opportunity as she is consistently recognized in the press for red carpet and street style. Her fashion credibility coupled with her powerful connection to fans offers a unique platform on which to build a successful lifestyle brand.”
