Marc Jacobs' Spring 2015 RTW collection is fit for a fashion army ready to take on the summer heat. The collection's military influence is evident in the army-style jackets and cargo pants, but the use of sheer and satin fabrics gives these looks a fashion-forward feel.

Are you ready to sign up for Marc Jacobs' fashion army, but can't afford the designer uniform? Keep reading for three budget-friendly outfits inspired by looks straight off the runway:

1. Code Blue

This is one of my favorite looks from the collection. When getting dressed during the summer, I like to wear the least number of outfit pieces as possible to take on the humid, hot air. Jumpsuits are just one piece and are also trendy and easy-to-wear. You don't need to layer on anything except for your accessories.

Snag a similar look with this royal blue jumpsuit that features a tiny center cutout. Define your waistline with a black belt, then slip into a pair of sporty sandals. Go for a pair of classy pearl earrings, and you're ready for a summer day spent out and about.

2. Fierce and Flirty

A big trend this year is two-piece sets. These oftentimes consist of a crop top and a skirt, which imitate a dress. This look from Marc Jacobs' collection is a fashion-forward take on the trend, and I really love how the tough fabric is softened with ballet flats.

For a sophisticated take on Marc Jacobs' fashion-forward look, choose a black-and-white pleated striped skirt. Pull on a bandeau-style tank, then layer a lace crop top over it. Complete the outfit with gold bowtie earrings and red ballet flats for a little spice.

3. Army Green

an army inspired look

I am obsessed with army-inspired outfits and this one is no exception. The combination of baggy pants and a fitted knit bandeau creates a balanced look. Also, the practical cargo pants and army green bag make this ensemble perfect for an active day.

To recreate this look, pair khaki cargo pants with a black bandeau, or a striped one for a bolder vibe. You could also swap out the bandeau for a tank top if you aren't into exposing so much skin. Pull out your favorite strappy black sandals, then store everything you'll need for a busy day in an army green backpack.
