Chanel's Spring 2017 runway show was set inside a computer mainframe. Why? No one really knows. However, the unusual setting was not the only unexpected thing about the show.
The collection featured various bright colors, prints, fabrics and cuts, combining to make an extremely eclectic set of looks. Of course, ballet flats and boucle jackets brought it all back to good old classic Chanel.
So, here's a few of my favorite looks (on a budget, of course) that will give you a head start on some of next year's trends!
White sundresses are always in style come Spring/Summer, but next year, update yours with some metal. Add a metallic bag and chain belt to a plain white dress to get the Chanel SS look.
A classic boucle jacket gives this on-trend nude dress a sophisticated update. Add a statement necklace, earrings, and these pale grey boots to complete the look!
Judging by this collection, we'll all be wearing baseball hats and white shoes (like in the above two looks) next Summer. An otherwise girly look, thanks to the skirt, shoes and tiny handbag, gets a bit of an edge with a sheer top and black cap. I added this slogan one because it's a bit more fun than a Yankees logo.
What do you think?
