Temperatures may be climbing - or plummeting - where you are, but either way, you're probably dreaming about sun, beaches, and sleeveless clothing. OPI's new Hawaii collection is the perfect remedy if you can't wait any longer for spring, and it's a lot easier on the wallet than an actual trip to the islands.
The collection is full of bright, tropical colors, which are featured against the natural landscape in OPI's promotional video:
After watching the video, I was inspired by the contrast of stark black and white against the bold, vibrant colors. The looks were sleek and simple and made the nail polishes the center of attention.
Want to translate this aesthetic to your own spring wardrobe? Check out these three ensembles inspired by colors from OPI's Hawaii collection:
"Aloha from OPI"
This look is inspired by one in the video, which features a strappy black crop top and fitted black skirt. Edge it up with black gladiator heels and a gold cuff, and don't forget to add pops of tropical color with a floral clutch and OPI's bright, pink-red polish.
"My Gecko Does Tricks"
For a more casual, beachy look, try a flouncy blue dress and black sandals. A black bucket bag and sleek gold ring add a trendy vibe. Incorporate some fun touches, like an eye-catching ponytail holder and OPI's lime green "My Gecko Does Tricks" nail polish.
"This Color's Making Waves"
If it's too cold for bare shoulders, try this last outfit. Start with a bold, white cutout dress, then edge it up with a moto jacket and black strappy heels. A geometric gold necklace makes a statement and adds some sparkle. Finish the look with pops of teal from an oversized clutch and OPI's shimmery "This Color's Making Waves."
