After last week’s super girly post on fashion inspired by Bo Peep from Disney Pixar’s Toy Story, I thought it would be fun to mix things up with another “Toy Story” set, this time, featuring everyone’s favorite cowgirl, Jessie.

Although she wasn’t a part of the original movie, Jessie made a huge statement in the sequel! Much like her pal Woody, she’s a “rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl of the west,” and isn’t afraid to show it. Her fierce personality and loving heart make her one of my favorite Disney characters to date.

Not only does Jessie have a super fun personality on screen, she’s got a cowgirl style that’s cute to boot. From her bold red cowboy hat down to her classic cowboy boots, Jessie definitely has the western wear look down to a science. Because of this, Jessie is a great source of fashion inspiration! Below, I’ve created several looks inspired by Jessie’s that you can pull off in real life. Scroll down to view them all!

Cowgirl Chic

Outfit inspired by Jessie from Disney Pixar's Toy Story

Top – Forever 21, Jeans – Forever 21, Booties – Forever 21, Belt – Dorothy Perkins

Inspired by Jessie’s cowgirl getup, pair a tie-front denim button-up with a pair of sand-colored skinny jeans. Cowboy-inspired ankle booties keep things western but with a modern twist. Add a faux-leather belt to complete the look!

Western Wear

Outfit inspired by Jessie from Disney Pixar's Toy Story: Chambray skirt, white button-down shirt, cowgirl boots, leather belt, yellow headband

Shirt – American Eagle Outfitters, Skirt – American Apparel, Boots – Zappos, Belt – Wet Seal, Headband – Boohoo

Make like a bandit and steal Jessie’s cute western look with a button-up shirt tucked into a trendy pleated chambray skirt. Wear a bow headband similar to the bow Jessie wears. Accent the skirt with a wide stretch belt, and slip on a pair of cowboy boots to finish the outfit!

Home on the Range

Outfit inspired by Jessie from Disney Pixar's Toy Story: Yellow lace dress, chambray sleeveless top, red cowboy boots, stud earrings

Dress – Forever21, Top – Delia’s, Boots – Zappos, Earrings – Forever21

For a more girly look, try a yellow gold lace dress with a pair of bright red cowboy boots. Tie a chambray button-up top over the dress for an added flair, and put in pretty peach studs to complete the ensemble.

What do you think?

Are you inspired by Jessie’s western wear? Would you wear any of the looks above? Which outfit is your favorite? Would you like to see more posts like these in the future? Let me know in the comments!
