Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Jessica Alba, Ashley Madekwe, & Ashley Tisdale

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Jessica Alba, Ashley Madekwe, and Ashley Tisdale, who all rocked trendy (faux) leather outerwear this week. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Jessica Alba's Casual Chic

Whether she's on a red carpet or running errands, it's never a surprise to see Jessica Alba in a fashion-forward ensemble. Jessica put together a casual yet chic look this week that featured loose-fitting jeans, leopard print loafer flats, and a plaid shirt. She buttoned up the top in order to show off a jeweled statement necklace, and completed her outfit with a black moto jacket, sunglasses and a black beanie hat.

These loose-fitting jeans are similar to boyfriend jeans, and are perfect for a day where you want to be extra comfortable. Since the jeans are cuffed at the ankle, your footwear will be on full display, so choose a standout shoe, like a leopard loafer, for a fun take on the mixed prints trend. A plaid shirt keeps with the comfy vibe of the outfit, but makes for a chic contrast with the loafers.

Button the shirt up all the way and wear a bib statement necklace over top. Pairing the glam necklace with a more relaxed counterpart creates a unexpected combination. Dark wayfarer sunglasses and a slouchy black beanie further accessorize the look.

Look 2: Ashley Madekwe's Sleek Night-Out Look

Actress Ashley Madekwe is one of my favorite celebrities to look to for outfit inspiration; she always wears outfits that are flattering and on-trend. For a night out in Hollywood, Ashley wore eye-catching cropped red trousers, which she paired with more relaxed pieces, like a black slouchy t-shirt and a matching leather moto jacket. Ashley kept the accessories glam with a chain necklace, a Chanel cross-body bag, and open-toe heels.

Ashley's outfit is awesome for a night out on the town or even a dressy dinner. These cropped red dress pants are chic and eye-catching thanks to their bold color, and can be worn for business (paired with a white button-down shirt and flats) or pleasure, like Ashley did. Black complements the red well; a slouchy black t-shirt gives the trousers a more relaxed look, while a leather or faux leather jacket adds a trendy touch.

Ashley went for glam accessories, like a large chain necklace and open-toe heels. The pair featured here have a metallic two-tone and stud detailing, just like Ashley's. While Chanel isn't in every college girl's budget (I wish!), this cross-body Zara bag still has the same standout quality.

Look 3: Ashley Tisdale's Comfy Cute

Ashley Tisdale was spotted house-hunting with her beau this week wearing a casual yet cute outfit that's fantastic for the winter months. Ashley kept her look neutral with gray straight-leg jeans, a darker gray cowl neck sweater, a black moto jacket, and black Ugg boots. Ashley's ensemble works well for a day where you want to stay warm and comfy, but still look put-together.

A cozy cowl neck sweater is a perfect piece to pick up for the winter months - it's warm and cute! Since this look only features two colors, vary the shades of grays between the sweater and jeans to keep things from looking dull. Grab a black faux leather moto jacket to add some toughness and dimension to the outfit.

Say what you want about Ugg boots (and it seems like the dominant opinion is often against them) but they can be very comfortable, and if you live in a cold location, it sure feels nice to keep your feet warm in sheepskin boots. However, if sheepskin boots aren't your thing, go for a pair of lace-up combat boots instead. Accessorize with a pair of shades and you'll be good to go.
