Every week, we scour the web to find the best celebrity street style looks and recreate them on a budget.
This week, we obsessed over Diane Kruger's leather shift dress and ankle boots, Chrissy Teigen's polished pencil skirt, and Jamie Chung's summer-ready ensemble. Want to get their looks for less? Keep on reading.
Look 1: Diane Kruger's Leather Dress & Fedora
Diane Kruger was photographed on her way to Cannes this week in a killer airport look. She rocked a leather shift dress, snakeskin ankle booties, and a black and brown satchel, finishing her look with a felt fedora and cat-eye shades.
Diane's look is great if you have an edgy style but want to look polished - it's a great mix of both aesthetics.
To get Diane's look, start with a faux leather shift dress. This one is a simpler take on Diane's button-adorned shift. Store your essentials in a colorblocked satchel like this one.
These snakeskin peep-toe booties are dead ringers for Diane's and are actually more appropriate for the season thanks to their cutouts. Top your look off with a felt fedora and cat-eye sunglasses.
Look 2: Chrissy Teigen's Polished Pencil Skirt & Crop Top
Model and TV host Chrissy Teigen was spotted out in NYC this week wearing a polished yet on-trend ensemble consisting of a polka dot pencil skirt, white crop top, pointed-toe heels, and a black satchel.
I love Chrissy's look because it's both put-together and fun - the combination can be difficult to pull off, but Chrissy does it with ease.
To recreate Chrissy's look, start with a neutral-toned, high-waisted pencil skirt. This one is a more subdued take on Chrissy's polka-dot skirt. Next, add a simple crop top, a budget-friendly pick - this one from Forever 21 costs less than $5!
Since the top and skirt are basic, add interest with extras. This choker is similar to Chrissy's and will win you trend points. Pointed toe heels, a black satchel, and gold sunglasses complete the ensemble.
Look 3: Jamie Chung's Palm Trees & Denim
Jamie Chung looked springtime-perfect this week in a palm tree printed dress and denim jacket. Always the trendsetter, the actress topped off her look with block heel sandals.
I love Jamie's look because it's sweet and easy to wear - perfect for a weekend day spent shopping or brunching in the sun.
To recreate Jamie's look, you'll need a tropical dress. I'm obsessed with the colors on this palm tree-printed one. If you don't have a classic denim jacket in your wardrobe, I recommend investing ASAP - I actually own this AEO jacket and it's in constant rotation in my wardrobe.
Since our frock doesn't incorporate the blue green hue of Jamie's dress, I added the color with a cute cross-body bag. Just grab gold bangles and block heel sandals and you'll be ready to hit the streets in style.
