Fringe Top: Forever 21
Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.
Designers like Valentino, Rodarte, and Emilio Pucci featured fringe in their spring shows, and now retailers are rolling out lower-priced versions for summer. Fringe is one of those trends that may seem a little daunting at first, but we love how it adds movement to any ensemble, as well as a boho-chic flair.
This week, we’re featuring a summery white fringed tank top that can easily be dressed up or down by switching up the accessories. Keep reading and I’ll show you how to style this fun fringed top for both class and a night out!
Fringe Top: Class
This deco-inspired fringe top can be dressed down for class when paired with casual denim shorts and gold slingback flats. The scalloped detailing on the flats keeps the top looking more ladylike and less festival.
Add some color to the outfit by carrying all of your belongings in a light blue tote. Accessorize with shimmery studs, which lend a little more shine to the ensemble. Finish the look by wearing a hydrating tinted lip balm in a pretty shade of muted coral.
Fringe Top: Night Out
Go for a glamourous, Gatsby-inspired look for a night out on the town by pairing this white fringe top with a gold coated bandage skirt. Keep the focus on the skirt and shirt combo by wearing minimalistic heeled sandals that feature just a hint of gold.
With all of the shimmer and shine already going on in this ensemble you won’t need much jewelry – just accessorize with a gold deco-esque cuff bracelet. Incorporate summery pops of color by carrying an aqua clutch and painting your nails a beautiful orchid hue. Keep your makeup neutral with just a hint of shimmer by wearing a champagne-colored cream eyeshadow.
