Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.
Fashion inspired by the ’70s has been super popular lately. Nowadays, suede and fringe are everywhere from the campus to the catwalk. A really accessible way to wear the ’70s trend is with flared jeans. They’ll make you stand out in a sea of skinny jeans around campus. See how I styled them for class and a night out!
Flared Jeans: Class
As we discussed a while back, wearing a peasant shirt with flared jeans is a no-brainer since they both have a bohemian vibe. Add a tan leather jacket and matching bag to give your look some edge. Lastly, throw on some wedge booties that will be comfortable enough for class.
Flared Jeans: Night Out
Dress up your jeans for night with a fun peplum top. The flared cut reflects the flare in your jeans, which makes your outfit look playful but put-together. Pair the jeans with a cropped blazer and peplum top. Add a statement necklace and bag in a fun color that will stand out from the neutral color of your top. Lastly, put on some heels and you’ll look far out!
