The moment you meet Nada, you can tell how cultured and well-traveled she is. She told me about all the dreamy and quirky pieces that she has stocked in her closet, ranging from leather shirts to patterned bomber jackets. Her style is truly unique and fun, and perfectly matches her awesome personality.

Let’s Talk Fashion
Who or what inspires your style? “A lot of cultural influences and stores from around the world that have different clothing. It gives you an outside perspective. Also, the weather and my parents. I can’t wear short shorts, so I wear a lot of pants.”
How would you describe your sense of style? “European Conservative. Does that even exist?”
Why did you choose this particular outfit? “The warm weather influences what I wear so loose clothing is a must.”
What fashion advice would you give to other students looking to improve their style? “I don’t want to give cheesy advice, but always dress to impress. Also, don’t be afraid to wear something weird or something nobody else wears, like those gaucho pants. Nobody wears them, but wear them anyway!”
What are your favorite trends right now? “Off-the-shoulder tops. They’re cute and a little sexy but still cover you up, and also loose flow[y] pants because when you wear them with heels, they make your legs looks really long.”
Do you have any favorite fashion designers? If so, who? “Valentino. I like the attention to detail and the intricacy. There’s also this jewelry line called Mod and Joe. The jewelry has tassels and rocks, and it’s very rustic and modern.”
What do you do for fun – do you have any unique hobbies or interests? “I really enjoy writing, especially about fashion. I’m also a food person so I like to not only eat food, but read about it and watch food shows. I like playing cards too so I’m always looking for new ways to shuffle and games to play.”
If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be and why? “Blake Lively, because even when she’s pregnant she has amazing clothing. If she can make pregnancy look good, she can make anything look good.”
Elements of Nada’s Outfit
Nada makes use of bold colors for her going out ensemble. The bright blue and vivid orange are great summer colors and contrast vibrantly.
2. Statement Necklace
Statement necklaces are a tried and true way to amp up any outfit. Throw one on with jeans and a t-shirt and you have a whole new look! Nada’s muted purple flower necklace adds just the right amount of sparkle to her outfit.
3. Arm Candy
Nada paid homage to her native country, Morocco, by sporting delicate bracelets from street vendors. This is one of her favorite ways to incorporate culturally inspired pieces into outfits. She also added her Michael Kors watch and bracelet which she says she wears every day.
Nada’s shoes are very on-trend right now with chunky heels and suede fabric. They were the perfect finishing touch and made her legs look a mile long.
Nada got this purse as a gift from a friend; she said that it was handmade in Mexico. The embroidery is beautiful and it adds to her traveler-chic look. The beaded flowers and leaves make the bag very unique and the small size is perfect for a night out.
