Ever since I first heard about CARGO PlantLove Botanical Lipstick, I’ve been searching for a reason to buy it.
For those of you who haven’t heard of this environmentally-friendly wonder product, CARGO Plantlove is a lipstick packaged in an adorable tube made entirely out of corn, which is an abundant and renewable resource. The corn tube biodegrades completely, which cuts down on greenhouse gases, major contributors to global warming.
Plus, the packaging grows flowers! The outer case that the lipstick comes in is made out of flower paper with real wildflower seeds. Just moisten it, plant it in the ground, and wait for flowers to grow! How adorable is that? Plus, CARGO donates $2.00 from every lipstick sold to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Up until now, I just couldn’t justify the purchase. Even though it’s for a good cause, I have way too many shades of lipstick already. I was very upset about this until I found out about the Hot Pink Lipstick Trend that celebrities are rocking this spring.
Finally, my prayers have been answered. I obviously don’t have any bright pink lipstick, so if I’m gonna try the trend out, I need to buy some. I might hate the trend and regret buying the lipstick. Therefore, I need to buy some lipstick that I won’t feel guilty about hating if it turns out the trend just isn’t for me, haha.
CARGO PlantLove Botanical Lipstick Lindsay, a shade designed by Lindsay Lohan herself (2nd from left above), is the perfect guilt-free hot pink lipstick. I just bought it today, and even though the hot pink lipstick trend might not be for me, at least I am helping the environment and some kids at St. Judes by trying it out. It’s worth it.. right?
