Just a note – the Alexander McQueen shoes are commonly referenced as being 10″. When I noted this, I was referring to heels as the style of shoe, not the part of the shoe. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if the heel itself was 10″ tall, I can’t find any clarification on the internet, and never meant to specify them as such.

The McQueen booties do not have a 10 inch heel. They measure just over 10 inches from floor to the very top of the boot. :-)

Consider the image. If those heels are ten inches high, the models foot is about 14 inches long: about a size 22 shoe.

i have about ten pairs of heel and they all range from 4″ to 5′”i have no problems at all walking in them and they are very comfty to were to work each day.as i am a secetary i need to look my best with my thigh high stockings i look hot !!!
i just love going home each night and having my man grab me and throw me on the bed and do away with me when i got only my heels and thigh high stockings on !!!!!

I’m 5’6 and LOVE heels. Anything goes, the taller I am, the better. They make me feel invincible. :)

I’m just over 6ft tall, but I still love my high heels, they make my legs stand out and make me feel sexier. about 11 of my friends are 5’9+ so its great when we wear super high heels.

Nearly all my shoes has at least a 4.5 inch heel, and I have a fair few of 6 inch heels and platform boots with a 8 inch heel. I don’t own any flats, apart from a old pair of trainers which I haven’t worn for years. Walking in them is easy for me.

My boyfriend though is really short, but the hight difference don’t bother me, so I just wear them around him anyway

I love high heels and have over 20 pairs! Recently I thought about our biology and how the slightest sprain or strain on your ankles and feet can cause a life-time of pain and immobility. If you are not comfortable in heels, don’t do it for styles sake, because when the the fashion becomes passe your ankle problems will not. Just thought I should remind everyone.

While yes they do look nice I’m short and clumsy and would most likely break one of my ankles trying to walk in them. so I think these shoes are better off with gracefull, tall people.

i’m 4’11″, yes, that’s really short!! so i totally love this trend!! i usually wear heels over 3.5″ daily, but i have up to 6″, just make sure they have platforms

I’m 5’9 and I LOVE heels! People see me practically running in 4in stillettos and ask me how I do it. That said, I think the McQueens look a little redic and I’m wondering how the model made it down the runway…love the ones you picked though haha
